Our friend and ally in the war against islamic extremism remembers those lost on 9/11 with a permanent monument outside Jerusalem:



The Israeli monument is the first constructed outside the US that contains all the names of those who perished.

Israel is not at war with "islamic extremist". if this was the case, they would be contributing troops to the war in Afghanistan or some other front against Al-Qaeda.

Israel is at war with terrorists who attack Israel. These terrorists are both religious and secular.

is this thread meant to appeal to the emotions of the American people?

"look!! israel is on your side!! now stop telling them to stop settlements". :confused::confused::confused:

and also, why is this in the 9-11 conspiracy theory section?

Making truthers go insane is like making the Earth orbit the Sun. It's unnecessary and redundant.

One can, however, provoke them into higher than normal noise levels. ;)

To give the truthers that post here an opportunity to express their appreciation for Israels sympathy and respect for the fallen, of course.

Parky, there is every reason to post this here in the 9/11 section. We routinely throw news from the real world in the truthers faces all the time. The Israeli memorial story is a reflection of the real thoughts and feelings of the people of Israel towards the victims of 9/11. When we are attacked by common foes, the Israeli people do not dance as they do in the sick hateful fantasies of the 9/11 deniers, they mourn with us.

As such, this story has a place here.

BTW, if I decide to seek advice from someone as to wether a thread in the 9/11 section is pointless or redundant, I won't be asking you.

I think the leaders of Israel all get together every year to gloat over the attack on the King David Hotel also and laugh about those who were slaughtered....Weren't the terrorists in that attack instructed to dress up like Arabs? With friends and "allys" like these....who needs enemies.

I too am unimpressed by right-wing racists who pledge their "sympathy" to Americans.

i expect this monument to be torn down or defaced, if Obama gets a peace deal that removes most settlements.

1)Did the Israeli terrorists who bombed and murdered the innocent civillians at the King David dress like Arab women?

2)Was there a recent memorial celebration of the terrorist attack by the criminal "Stern Gang" attended by several high ranking Israeli officials?

3)Were persons involved in terrorist activities and mass murder later elected to high office in Israel?

Of course the answer to ALL of the above questions is an emphatic YES...What does this say about the phony gesture depicted in your little video? I know what it says to those of us who are aware of the methods and motives of the Israeli leadership both past and present. Aren't some of the present leaders of Israel wanted for war crimes? Give us all a break champ.

The Jerusalem 9/11 memorial is not phony. A real monument was constructed and an official ceremony was held and attended by real representatives of the United States and Israeli governments.

The feelings the Israeli people have for the victims of 9/11 is quite genuine as well. Israel has suffered from islamic extremist terrorism more than anyone. Expressed in terms of a percentage of the countries total population, Israel was at one point experiencing a 9/11 every week.

They know the pain America and the world suffered that day. It is offensive to suggest otherwise.

actually, there is an annual gathering to celebrate this terrorist attack. Netanyahu attended this year's ceremonies. and there is a museum honoring the terrorist group that pulled it off.
