Both Barrett and Galileo (.... Lingren! sorry!) pussyfoot around the issue of whether KSM is innocent... they just blather about the government's "poor case." Neither seems to be aware that "overt acts" in the furtherance of a conspiracy do not need necessarily to be criminal acts in themselves.

The government has to prove that there was a conspiracy and the defendants did overt acts to further it. They have the burden of proof.
