Great! Then perhaps *you* will define the term, and explain how one could can have an "unbiased" discussion on matters of historical fact absent complete ignorance of those facts -- any why such an ignorant discussion would be productive or amusing?

Someone was whining about this "unbiased discussion" because zie felt that another poster was called a monster because of their factually incorrect opinion of historical fact, but strangely did not feel that someone else's opinion that denying mass murder is monstrous was not also just a valid.

According to the ADL/Wiesental Center promoted official story no holocaust worth mentioning happened before Wannsee (jan 1942).

German prosecutors are trying to establish that:

1) Demjanjuk did it on purpose
2) the victim was a Jew

If both assumptions turn out to be true the doors are open for establishing the Holocaust as a fact.

Trojan, ignoring Parky's orders to shut up, needs only a few words to jump to the wrong conclusion. From the jpost link:

Evidence that John Demjanjuk, 89, may have deliberately run over and killed a Jew while driving a truck in Germany is being studied by police, a German prosecutor told the DPA news agency on Monday.

Ukraine-born Demjanjuk is currently on trial in Munich over allegations that he helped kill 27,900 Jews at Sobibor Nazi death camp in 1943. He moved from Germany to the United States in 1952.


Dutch-Jewish commentator Max Pam expressed his doubts on prime time Dutch television a few weeks ago that this trial will lead to a conviction after Demjanjuk was cleared from wrong-doing by an Israeli court years ago.

This ridiculous truck story is a sure sign that exactly this is going to happen: the trial turning into a farce.

Happy New Year everybody! My wish (amongst many others) for this year will to be able to formulate the truth regarding the holocaust efficiently, convincingly and coherently.

For all my opponents I wish them many new insights, insights I am more than happy to provide.

What's this about? There are some 100 people related to the life of Anne Frank. What happened to them? The result is surprising, nay revealing:

1- On those 100 people, 65 were jews. This is impressive considering there was 75,000 jews in Amsterdam at that time and thus only making less than 10% of the population.

2- On those 65 jews, no less than 33 NEVER set foot in a camp.

3- 14 have been sent to camps but were released or liberated in 1945.

4- 12 have died in camps from old age, other natural causes or typhus (Anne is one of those).

5- Only 6, out of these 100 jews are "said" to have been executed in camps. And only ONE of those 6 is said to have been "gased".

Now how is that for a starter? Anyone who followed a basic statistic course knows that these figures are at odds with the official story.

I rather wonder at your finding this "impressive." It seems natural to me, at least, that a Jewish family would have connections to a greater number of people from its own ethnic/religious/cultural background.

I have always said that I considered this thread as a long term project, possibly until the end of 2010 or whatever it takes to get a good grasp of the subject, a subject less suitable for the christmas period, more for dark grey winter months, hence my short absence.

Well, well, look at this: has the Dutch born (Haarlem, 1955) Canadian Jew Robert Jan van Pelt become a revisionist? You will remember that van Pelt was Lipstadt's star witness during the Irving trial. Now he says this:

"Ninety-nine per cent of what we know [about Auschwitz] we do not actually have the physical evidence to prove"

Of course he hasn't become a revisionist. The holocaust is a faith based religion and nothing can invalidate a faith. Just like Christendom and Islam the Holocaust is based on a revelation (provided by St. Paul, Muhammed and Eli Wiesel resp.), not by fact. You need a leap of faith to enter the bliss of being a member of the community.
