I think they have him on three different counts..

1) he's a Democrat

2) he's black

3) He's not a right-winger ("socialist" in their view meaning anywhere to the left of where they think Reagan was)

I almost posted the same observation, but then realized at least some of the birthers would probably argue the difference between "citizen" and "natural-born citizen".

Although I have seen some imply that he's not even a citizen, so yeah...

I think there should be a charge of perjury placed against Orly every time she affirms that she is "of sound mind". By now even she has to realize she is bat crap crazy.

If someone who used to work for the government accessed a commercial background checker which only uses publicly available data and can't even say if Obama is married, everything must be true.

I guess Orly is not content with having been charged with Comtempt of Court.She is now going for a Perjury rap as well.
I wonder if her further descent into lunacy is giving some birthers second throughts about her.

I continue to be quite bothered by this argument, even though I hate birthers.

Calling someone a racist for not liking someone is no argument at all. It's a personal attack. It's something that cannot be proven. It's irresponsible. I think it's actually reprehensible in some ways.

Can't we be bigger than this? I've been trying to be more open minded about the way people on the left think and the common strawmen against them. This sort of thing doesn't help one bit. It fits all too well into the idea that you see people on the right as racist bigots who are otherwise unworthy of any respect.
