The only small negative forcing is the Ozone hole we created in Antarctica keeping Eastern Antarctica from the full brunt of GW.

That's why I find the deniers position so baffling.
Even if you were to believe (as many GW deniers seem to) that the temperature of the earth is totally driven by the activity of the sun, extra CO2 in the atmosphere is still not a good idea, just as having a thick duvet on your bed in the summer is not a good idea.
Or do GW deniers think we're heading into an ice age in the next 100 years and need as much heat retention as possible to lessen the impact?
Spoken like a true engineer.
The relevant global drift was it was getting COOLER since the last ice age until the last 6 decades when it reversed the orbital induced cooling our own forcing took front and centre stage.

Yeah but your first two graphs have no relevance.
well, I only posted this to remind people that regardless of this stupid "climategate" crap, the evidence is still there..and is quite overwhelming.
It certainly is. Especially if your last graph is extended to the present for temperatures, rather than ending two years ago. .
Parky, did you make those graphs yourself?
so you believe the clear trend that exists in these graphs will have reversed..if the graphs went to the present day?
proof?
how do you explain the sudden incredible variability of Earth's avg. yearly temp, that began about 43 years ago? hmmmm?
He was agreeing with you I think.
they were shown to provide context.
the fact remains, that temperature was much less variable 40 years ago, then it is today. and now the swings are much more dramatic.
this will likely continue and get worse....as the graph's trend seems to suggest.
haaa!!! i wish i had the time or intelligence to do such a thing.
