He is a few days into a two week blimp excursion up the US west coast.

And then he'll take a Proton Pill and be ready to do battle with the Forces of Evil (aka the JREFF) again.

The Roger Ramjet Show theme.

Roger_Ramjet#Theme_songWP

Verse 1
Roger Ramjet and his Eagles
Fighting for our freedom
Fly through in and outer space
Not to join 'em, but to beat 'em
Verse 2
When Ramjet takes a Proton Pill
The crooks begin to worry
They can't escape their awful fate
From Proton's mighty fury
Verse 3
So come and join us all you kids
For lots of fun and laughter
As Roger Ramjet and his men
Get all the crooks they're after
Chorus

Roger Ramjet, he's our man
Hero of our nation
For his adventures just be sure
And stay tuned to this station

;)

Radar images are known to pick up a flock of geese. That's no proof at all. :)

Agreed.

However, if each radar signal, or 'contact' is noted by both time and origin, then you could not only plot possible destination(s) (like the home of a residing President), but you could calculate its speed.

So what kinds of geese fly in perfect straight lines at 3000 ft, at speeds faster than our jets?

What are you talking about?

Obviously no kind of geese do this, so why exactly are you asking such a stupid question?

What are you talking about?

The manner in which radar 'images' are utilized to track a plane or other airborne craft.

You'd know exactly what I am talking about had you seen the program I linked.

I guess "stupid question" follow 'stupid suggestions'...like geese being responsible for the radar images captured.

MUFON disinformation...

If you're interested, read Tim's article at the link I posted earlier...

http://home.comcast.net/~tprinty/UFO/svilletx.htm

Scroll down to the section...

"Non-transponding but non-threatening"

Basically, an "unknown" object (that nobody reported seeing) was tracked on radar for over an hour traveling at less than 60 MPH heading toward the President's Crawford Ranch. Potential explanations include (depending on who you ask) alien spaceship, ultralight, or helicopter…

YMMV

Well, I think those fighter pilots need to be fired. If they didn't notice brightly lit traffic that was 500 feet in some dimension, how the heck would they avoid running into ordinary airplanes?

Still these must be the low technology Aliens who show up on terrestrial radar

I like the way ufonut logic works

1. if it doesn't have a radar contact, its extra terrestrial technology
2. if it does have a radar contact, its extra terrestrial technology

like the low technology aliens are some way behind our own stealth technology, yet they managed to travel across interstellar distances across space no problem
:D

I'm an avionics technician. I'll risk answering from my own knowledge base, rather than by reference to an internet clip.

Are you claiming the existence of stealth geese here, or what?

Are you talking about the two contacts that MUFON connected together to produce the high speed contact? That has to be the dumbest attempt at linking a radar contact with a visual I have ever seen. For those who do not know what KOTA is talking about, I addressed this in my article which Access Denied posted the link. http://home.comcast.net/~tprinty/UFO/svilletx.htm

The pertinent paragraph is:

The Radar data: Trying to make mountains out of molehills

You can find the MUFON report at:
http://www.mufon.com/documents/MUFONStephenvilleRadarReport.pdf

The authors of the report picked two random (and very weak) contacts and drew a line between them. Why? Because the contacts appeared in the general direction the witness reported the UFO. Completely ignored is that in the same direction about the same time was a flight of four F-16s (with anti-collision strobes flashing). How did the witness describe the UFO? He described it as having multiple strobe lights! Additionally, these two random contacts (there were several random contacts that appeared in the radar data and not just these two) were moving in a NW direction while the witnesses all stated the UFO was moving towards the SW (which just so happens to be the same direction as the F-16s!). What is more likely? The UFO or the misperception of the F-16s flying in formation?

If you want to press the "I believe" button, feel free to do so. However, do not try and present this data as evidence unless you actually read the report and evaluated the data!

My one and only UFO experience involved a flock of geese at night. On their first pass my friends and I saw a large triangular shaped craft pass over. We were all awestruck until they circled back and some of them honked. For at least a full minute, my mind went over all the details of what I had seen. The ship was huge (the geese were only 50 to 100 feet over head), silent, solid, and definitely powered as it was turning. Funny how the mind fills in details.

As usual the sceptics display their poor skills at examining evidence.

How can we be sure that what you heard was 'honking'? Have we eliminated 'hooting' No, therefore it was owls.

Have we eliminated 'bonking"? No! Therefore it was breeding season, and so your evidence is . . .

I win.
