120MPH is NOT a set terminal velocity for all objects.

Terminal velocity depends on many factors, air density(thus Kittinger's ability to gain so much speed in thin air), the area of the object exposed to the air, the shpae of the object, and the mass of the object.

If two objects of the same size and shape but of differing masses fall through the same density air then the more massiver object will have a higher terminal velocity.

Example, if a solid steel, human shaped object were to fall from a plane at the same time that a human skydiver does, the skydiver will soon see the steel-man outpacing him.

The other point to take into account is that if the object is tumbling, terminal velocity will also be affected.

I recall that 120MPH is the general figure for terminal velocity for a skydiver.

Well Gage reckons the irefutable evidence points to the 9 month elevator contract as the means of access to the demo team. And since the contract was bid and let several months earlier, it points to the Clinton Administration being in on it.

And that explains why the Obama administration is covering it up.

Its all coming together in Trutherland.

The "Osama is a CIA asset" assertion would require all presidents from Reagan to Bush Jr. to be in on it.
 
I finally listened to the show today. Brilliant. I signed up for her podcast. It is amazing how simple common sense and persistence win out over these conspiracies. The stuff about opinion polling 'proving' anything was a nice illustration of his confirmation bias.

Basically,yes.Dropping straight down the only thing speeding you up is gravity whereas an object coming from orbit,for instance,has a very high initial velocity plus gravity.

He wasn't losing speed fast enough to heat up significantly.As an analogy you can compare it to brake disc heating when you slow your car down,slowing from a higher speed in a given time will heat the brakes up more than from a low speed and slowing from a set speed over a longer time will give an object more time to radiate the heat away resulting in less intense heating.
