...Richard Gage destroyed by Kim Hill

Okay. Answer me. NYC Local time. When did CNN report the collapse and when did the BBC? What's your point? Was it independent of each other or connected?

What is you point?

All the authoritative reports came from the Fire Dept. As early as 2PM FDNY knew collapse was inevitable. Reporters carry radio scanners that pick up the emergency services channels. If anyone called it earlier, so what? There were lots of engineers on-site by noon and a reporter could ls have been quoting any one of them and they would have been right.

FDNY Chief Hayden sighting it with a surveyor's transit: .. we were pretty sure that 7 World Trade Center would collapse. Early on, we saw a bulge in the southwest corner between floors 10 and 13, and we had put a transit on that and we were pretty sure she was going to collapse. You actually could see there was a visible bulge, it ran up about three floors. It came down about 5 o'clock in the afternoon, but by about 2 o'clock in the afternoon we realized this thing was going to collapse.

1) Gage saying it happened at 6 hours before it did indicates he's an idiot

2) Whether one copied the other or if they independently made the same error is irrelevant. As has been pointed out to you ad infinium its collapse had been expected for hours. IIRC both used couched language like "has collapsed or is collapsing" and "we've been told" etc. What year are we in?

It's not irrelevant. Either the World News is independent of each other or connected. And I'm not interested in your excuses either way. I just want to know your stance. Which is it?

Read back. I asked you something.

I answered your question so now you can answer mine, why do I expect equivocation will be forthcoming?

Are two different major news organizations across the world informed from the same source, or do they coincidentally make the same mistake on the same topic? Which is the debunker stance?

That is a matter of perspective. To you and I, it was (and really is) pathetic. But to someone who watches it, in the same mindset, who says to themselves,

"Yup that is exactly what I would say. He is getting all of our points out there."

His performance was spot on. To a paranoid CTist, Gage was fantastic.

TAM:)

He sure got all the talking points out there, quite breathlessly. It's amazing how easily those points are demolished with a few simple, persistent "how" and "why" questions. These CT people are missing some key connectors in the logic circuits of their brains.

In NYC there are a dozen news organizations and they were all reporting the inevitable collapse of the towers.

Dense? I think so.

Were the individual reports on the early collapse of WTC7 independent of each other or connected? What's the debunker stance?
Some early reports of WTC collapsing were mistakes - it was really Homeland Insurgency's wife who collapsed.

News Stations around the world makes mistakes Algerbra!

Is your logic only focused on the BBC report from 9/11?

If it is, you have a narrow mind!

Since I wasn't in the US, let alone either NYC newsroom I have noway of knowing if someone at one network heard the report on the other(CNN was 1st IIRC)and passed it on to others or if the same source gave both of them incorrect info or if they both made the same error. It IS irrelevant, imagine a famous person is shot, various people at the hospital say they are doing their best but they expect him to die. About 30 minutes before he is pronounced dead CNN reports he died, 10 minutes later the BBC does the same.Would the most logical explanation be 1)the doctors killed him or the media made a mistake.

Iimagine it was before you were born but almost all TV stations reported that Jim Brady (Regan's press secretary) had died from the gunshot wound to his head, but he survived. Now imagine he died after that, the CT's would claim the doctors worked for the CIA.

Reporting from what source?

(for the Nth time.)

Primarily FDNY but there were countless engineers on-site by noon and the some reporter could have quoted any one of them and they would have been right.

There are probably a dozen news organizations in NYC. On 9/11 they were all doing 9/11 full time.

the prediction of the collapse of WTC7 was all over the TV and radio news by the afternoon.
