In addition, it's a matter of historic fact that the Nazis kept up a campaign of disinformation to keep the common Germans from learning about the extermination campaign. That's why there are so few references to the Holocaust in Nazi documents, except in higher-ranking circles. Hence the reason why Himmler's speech to the SS is such a critical piece of evidence. It was a rule under the Nazi regime not to just go around talking about the death camps.

People who post pictures of pluche animals, who claim that the Germans invaded Poland to 'punish the Sovjet-Union' (or something similar), who think that posting 'google holocaust' is enough to prove the holocaust, who post links they themselves don't understand, they are a waste of time. I don't mind being called a 'Nazi' every now and then if I get a decent argument or a new document or insight in return. These guys however are a waste of time.

I am saying they tortured him to extract a confession from him about 3,000,000 people killed. I repeat: 3,000,000, a ridiculous number.

The article confirms that Wolzek does not exist but that he 'proably meant' Sobibor. Why is that so? Is that a nick name? Can you show me documents that refer to Wolzek. If not, the claim that Wolzek=Sobibor is produced out of thin air.

Well, as I'm on ignore anyway, I may as well tell those of you who can see this, I'm actually in college right now. I just have a penchant for military history. Inherited, I guess. A lot of my family on my father's side is in the military. Though I'd prefer that nobody quoted this part of my post (if you quote it at all), as 9/11 would just take it as confirmation that I'm not experienced enough to pay attention to.

Wolzek is believed to be Sobibor as the description he gave of Wolzek matches the known information about Sobibor, including the description he gave of its location.

That was after Nuremberg, when Hoess had fulfilled his task and 'confessing' the murder of 3,000,000 people, amongst others in a non-existing camp Wolzek.

The Hoess confession was a farce.

Hoess wrote his memoirs while under Polish custody -- then I guess his memoirs were not under duress and can be considered legit.

The administrative camp had luxury (relatively speaking) facilities for collaborators, skilled laborers, etc. These unexpected facilities, are not unexpected when taken in context -- its not like Jews went for a dip in the pool then stopped by the Hospital for a physical while on their way to the gas chambers. There are two distinct types of prisoners - those valued for their skills or ability to perform work -- those classified as 'worthless eaters' and marked for murder.
