Libertarian 9/11 truth leader Jim Duensing shot in the back by cops

Traffic laws violate the natural rights granted to all of us under the Declaration of Independence.

:eye-poppi

You might recall that you had to study traffic statues governing what is and isn't allowed to get your driver's license. Obeying those rules is not optional and if you are caught transgressing in such a manner then the police are bound to uphold the law.
Attempting to then flee from the police then compounds matters. You probably expected the police to simply shrug their shoulders and go away?

He then reached for a firearm. Sure he has a permit to carry it. He does not have a permit to draw it against the police.
By your own words he could have shot them both dead. Oddly enough the police do not take well to being shot at let alone shot dead and will fire first if and when a gun is drawn, or one attempts to do so.

If you cannot take the consequences of your own actions then one must rethink what actions one is going to take.

FACT IS he likely knew there was an arrest warrent out for him, he then chose to make an illegal move in traffic(stuck in the right turn lane,,, too bad so sad, you make the right turn and then find your way back to where it is you wish to be. Its happened to anyone who has been driving for more than a few years) thus drawing attention to himself from the police. He was then stopped and confronted with bith his illegal move and his arrest warrents. His next move was to run. The police reacted with less than lethal force, a Taser. He responded by upping the ante and attempting to draw a gun, then a knife, which you admit he had. Sorry pal, he chose the make it a gun fight and he lost.

Duensing unsuccessfully ran for Congress against Shelley Berkley, D-Nev, in 2008, 2006 and 2004, generally garnering 2 percent to 3 percent of the vote.
So, that's his Mom, him and a couple of friends. [sarcasm]He was on the verge of power.[/sarcasm]

I couldn't help chuckling a bit at this part of Duensing's statement:

Quote:
The doctors believe that two of the shots made contact. It appears that one entered my right pec, bounced off my sternum, went through my left pec, then shattered my humerous just above my left elbow.

[ctmode]The magic bullet![/ctmode]

Indeed, passing across the chest and hitting the left arm is a very unusual trajectory for the bullet to take considering he was "shot in the back".

Must be one of those new fangled bullets that can make right angle turns ;)

So just I talked to a friend of mine who actually has a NV CCW license (he's a bail agent) and told him about this article. He stopped me right after I mentioned the warrant and he said "He doesn't have a CCW the instant a warrant was issued". In other words it's instantly revoked regardless of whether or not he knew that there was an arrest warrant out on him. Being a lawyer and a gun instructor he had to know that.

to expand:

The doctors believe that two of the shots made contact. It appears that one entered my right pec, bounced off my sternum, went through my left pec, then shattered my humerous just above my left elbow. The second shot went in my lower right abdomen and exited my left abdomen without hitting any vital organs.
so both shots entered his right side and exited his left side, on the front of his body, a truly magic bullet if he was shot in the back as he claims

It should be no problem for a Truther to be shot in the back in the front. The laws of physics just melt when they're around.

Also, they're all two-faced ...

In most states it's not revoked it's just suspended. I know in my state (MA) once you clear up the warrant it's a simple request to get it reinstated (for non-violent offenses). I know, I forgot to pay a ticket.:o

Use normal fonts please
He should have told the cops he was carrying a gun. Was his own fault. Not justifying anything but if he told the officer he had a gun, I am fairly certain nothing would have happened.

Jim is a licensed attorney, a licensed firearms instructor, and an official of the Libertarian Party of Nevada (he is a voting memebr of the Executice Committee and former Chairman).
You forget one other qualification. He had an outstanding warrant.

ETA - As character witness you going to appear as Galileo?

I don't know that either. I was just repeating what he said to me. Whichever it was is moot anyway. He still didn't have permission to carry a concealed weapon at the time of the arrest and he didn't inform the officers that he was carrying even if he thought he could still legally carry. That's a good way to get yourself shot.

I think Duensing deserves serious consideration for an Honorable Mention come Darwin Awards time.

In most states if you have a CCW it comes up when the officer runs your plate (before he/she comes to your door). It's asking for problems to try to hide it. It's a well known fact you keep your hands in plain sight.

As far as I read, there was no confirmation that he WAS actually carrying a gun..unless I missed something...so let's not jump to conclusions. I'm really not fond of the idea of cops shooting people in the back, as a general rule..especially involving misdemeanor traffic violations.

Oh..and Galileo...here at the NWO, if we don't want someone to run for the Senate, we DON'T have the local police shoot him in the back during a traffic stop. No...we have a whole freezer full of dead homosexual prostitutes for that.

I break the law for heresy and hearsay.

:fg:

By wild coincidence I am listening to a report about Cheney claiming to the FBI that he has no memory/recollection of several things he is verifiably known to have said/arranged/done.:D
