Chupacabra Now At The Creation Museum

It just annoys me to see pretty much the whole point of science (keep asking questions, change your theories if the answers demand it*) being thrown up as some sort of negative quality. Do these people live their lives according to some book of rules drawn up thousands of years ago?

Oh, creationists. Yeah. They do. Pillocks.

Only in a cherry picking kind of way. Im sure they dont live in huts, hunting food and wild plants for medicine ;)

Sure. Mostly in the US but the UK has one too.

I know there's a Zoo just opened in Bristol that promotes creationism but where in the Hell is a creation Museum in the UK?

Time to get out the pitchforks and threshers methinks.

I just googled it: http://www.genesisexpo.co.uk/index.html

What a load of rubbish. It has a rubbish "Dinosaur" and it looks pretty basic.

I did notice this:
Come and visit us on The Hard in Portsmouth.

Is it OK if I turn up with a semi?

Am I being overly suspicious here? I had a look at the link you provided and I immediately noticed that the comments at the bottom of the page, which are meant to be taken from the museums visitors book get shorter and shorter each month. (See Graph):

Why would the comments shorten over the year? The only thing I can think of is that whoever was making it up, got bored.

I should have aligned my column headings properly shouldn't I? Damn!

A hard is a another term for a slipway. And for the museum see:

Slipway, for getting ships into and out of the water. Portsmouth was traditionally a seafaring and naval town is proud of it's oceanic heritage.

I grew up just outside Portsmouth, still consider it my home and feel pretty embarressed about it having a creation museum. It's not like they even have an excuse, it was a port, there was no reason for inbreeding!

If you could put up with Harry Redknapp, you can put up with a few 'ickle creationists.:D
