I would gladly have paid good money to hear your speech.
Sadly, my wife and I are unable to go to TAM's currently.

So don't apologize to the listeners, when there are "wanna-be listeners" like me who wishes they were there to hear what you consider boring.

I did get another budgie, Alex the Wonder Budgie. Alas, when I was ill this spring it was discovered that I am allergic to birds. This explained the chronic and acute bouts of respiratory illnesses I've had over the years.

Alex now lives with a doting couple who cater to his every need.

Well... if your intent was to do a nice short concise skeptical lecture, then yeah, I suppose you failed. If you were up there to do what most everyone thought you were up there to do was to talk about what you'd been through for the last year, then it was lovely.

ETA: Much more lovely than that sentence of mine, for sure!

The initial bulk of our admiration of you, among us skeptics, was generated by your TAM paper presentation on Stop Kaz. How bad could that presentation have been, if it launched you to where you are, today?
(Of course, I wouldn't know, 'cause I missed most of it. I wasn't psychic enough to know you'd be a superstar, today!)

If I had discovered that I was allergic to cats, I would be heartbroken. I hope some day you find a workaround which will allow you to associate with budgies again.

How are your efforts going in getting stopsylvia back? I feel like an ex drug addict being promised some drugs, but they are always due 'soon.'

So what do you guys mean getting it back?
 
No worries, Robert. You've earned much more slack than you'll ever have occasion to use. Most of us in the audience hope never to have the pressure of the TAM spotlight photons on our shoulders. You "get the job done" in a manner other than oration. That doesn't diminish your contributions. OK, so you're no Neil deGrasse Tyson. Neither are any of us. You could have done much worse and we'd still have the big love for you.

I know Christopher Knight, maybe he could give some advice. He is the most experienced guy I know when it comes to such matters.

Do we need to outbid someone to get the domain back?
I will pull all of my resources to try and raise money if that is the case. I'm sorry I am out of the loop. What is going on?

I've given up on estimating when I will get a new article up. I just end up disappointing people when I do. To answer your question, my efforts aren't going well, as I am more focused on other things now, such as learning how to walk again.

By "back on its feet", I meant updated and current. Yes, the site is up, but I have no access to the source code at present.

zero, it's a long and sad story. Most of the problem is the lack f the site's source material, but there is more to it, such as my lack of some of the sftware I used to create and maintain those materials.

Yes, that prsentation went very well, as did my later speech regarding stopsylviabrowne. It is just the tam7 speech for which I am apologizing. "Superstar"? :p

When you said "I haven't been satisfied with any of my TAM appearances." did you mean all of your appearancess from all of the TAMs? Or just all of them from TAM7?

I already replied to the first interpretation.

For the second I wil say this: What did you think we were expecting out of you? A UFC championship?!
