As a writer for Skepchick, Sam Ogden (aka "Phil" on the forum) interviewed Dr Eugenie Scott when she was in town for a speaking engagement at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Many people from the Houston Skeptic Society were able to attend her lecture later that night. This link is part one of the video interview Sam was able to do with Dr. Scott.

Thanks for posting this GG.

If we could somehow get that ugly bald guy off the screen, this would be a great interview.

Phil, I must admit, I'm really disappointed by those pants. After all this time wondering, I had always assumed that there was something... I dunno... unique, or attention-grabbing about your pants.

:D

eta: oh, and nice job! Love the "first game of the World Series" joke!

Hey, you're lucky I was wearing pants!

Don't be so self deprecating, you're a handsome (albeit bald) man. Not that anyone cares but, Dr. Scott could be an attractive woman with a makeover. BTW great interview.

Well, thanks.

And for the record, I think Dr. Scott is an attractive woman just the way she is.

I agree.

And of course what she looks like has no bearing on her intellect, personality, or abilities.

...which makes her hot on one score, but kind of ...ehhhh... on the other score.

Unlike you, who scores hot enough to melt #4 rebar!!! :D Probably #5 or #6 on a good day, too!

Interview with Dr. Eugenie Scott
I swear I thought this said Interview with Dr. Eugene Scott. On the one hand, a current interview would be difficult, but the man talked so much I can imagine being four years dead would not be that big an obstacle.
