I'm anti-zionist... My father is a christian-zionist.. I can't stand his positions on Israel.. I don't hate "THE JEWS".. The same goes for a great deal of people that are anti-zion. Hate to break it to you, but you don't have to "hate jews" just to dislike the occupation that is Israel. Don't you think it's a bit ironic that you point fingers and accuse people of bigotry when you, yourself are practicing it?

You might want to think about which dogs you lie down with because "anti-Zionist" is absolutely a codeword for anti-Jew, especially among the tinhat/Alex Jones crowd.
 
Parky is hardly a Zionist apologist. Parky appears to have been saying that Jones is, like many people, hiding his anti-Semitism behind a mask of anti-Zionism. I seem to remember a thread about that very issue.

Parky wasn't suggesting that anti-Zionism is always a mask for anti-Semitism.

If I have misinterpreted Parky then I apologise to him but I think I have the correct interpretation.

Zionism is merely Jewish self-determination, which the UN Charter calls for for all people.

Anyone seeking to deny Jews what every other people have is anti-Semitic.

Out of curiosity- If (like Christopher Hitchens) anyone here (who does not already consider him/her self Jewish), discovered that technically they were, would it affect them in any significant way?
For me it would be about as traumatic as learning my great grandmother was Canadian, or a hairdresser. In short it would not affect me in the slightest.
I have no idea how I should expect Mr Ahmawotsit to feel.
 
I invite everyone claiming anti-zionism is just a PC way to say you're antisemitic to say it to the face of an anti-zionist jewish person. Anti-zionism as far as I'm concerned has nothing to do with any racial hate or aversion. It is being opposed to the belief that it is the right of a group of people to claim a part of the earth's land on the sole basis of it being written in a book somewhere. Even if that means that that land was already occupied by another group of people.

Of course not everyone uses the word in this way. I'm sure that mr. jones has a completely different thought behind the meaning of the word zionist. Every antisemitic person that doesn't want to use that word will claim to be an anti-zionist. That doesn't mean that every anti-zionist is an antisemite though.

This has nothing to do with either the idea behind Zionism, or the history leading to the creation of Israel. It is simply a straw man argument.
 
Ahmadinejad and the Iranian government have no racial hatred of Jews, so if Ahmadinejad did have Jewish ancestry, it wouldn't really be important.
