I'm not sure of any videos recording sounds of explosions off hand, but I know many people reported hearing as much, a quick Google search turns up this video compilation.

Ah yes... the PAY PHONE explosion... I love this one. It is taken AFTER BOTH towers have collapsed. You can tell by several methods including how they firefighters are calling to tell people they are ok, and by the angle of the sun. It was taken between 11:30 and Noon.

Now, no one is disputing that AFTER the towers collapsed there were NO explosions. That is just being silly. There were dozens of explosions AFTER towers 1 and 2 collapsed.

But none right beforehand, and none right before wtc7 collapsed by like an hour.

What you twoofs ignore is that even in CD of buildings there is NO/limited freefall. There have been several threads on wtc7 and freefall. Newtons Bit and and other structural engineers explain how and why NIST is right and you are full of crap.

I think submitting a faked video in response to a claim that no CD explosions were captured on video is a little odd, but that's just me. Wildcat should, of course, have specified that no CD explosions were heard on any non-faked videos, I suppose. His bad.

IIRC it was from a Canadian documentary that I can't find online. But there was quite a bit of discussion about this here, and the bottom line is the audio track doesn't add up. IIRC gumboot did an analysis if it. The "boom" is too clear to have been the result of mic levels set to record the speech of the men.

The fact is the steel was studied. They found zero effects of explosives, no one was killed by blast effects, and zero thermite product was found. No melted steel.

I have spent many years handling explosives and incendiary devices used in a wide range of applications. I have never, ever, seen a shaped charge that used thermite as a component in any way, shape, or form. You are demonstating a non-existent understanding of even the most basic facts about explosives and incendiary devices. Have you ever even handled explosives? When was the last time you deployed a thermite grenade or used a shaped charge?

Anything identifiable down to fingernail size as sorted by three passes. First as the buckets are being filled by firemen, another when the bucket is passed back to a work area, dumped out and sifted through with gloved hands, and a third time on a conveyor belt under bright lights by several thousand forensics police folks working a couple hundred in a shift.

kylebisme, you haven't provided a single mathematical proof or mainstream (accepted and trusted by any major accredited institution) engineering concept to back up your vague speculation.

You are in the unfortunate position of denying ALL the science which supports the mainstream consensus. You are bound to fail. Simply issuing blanket denials without any intelligent rebuttal isn't critical thinking, good science, or knowledgeable debate.

I've read most of your posts, reluctantly, btw. I'm sorry, but your ideas don't impress me at all, compared with the various peer-reviewed papers of top-notch structural engineers, etc.

To take just one of your objections, the NG beam test, can you name the person who designed the test, and can you comment on the method of scaling, based on that person's calculations? I would very much doubt that you can.
If you think that would require too much effort, then I suggest you back off your arrogance, and accept that you really don't know what you're talking about.

If you'd like to learn more, stop posting your theories, and start reading and learning about good science.

I have extensive experience with various explosives and incendiaries including thermite, and I can confirm that Wildcat is indeed correct. Thermite DOES NOT burn sideways.
