Merged National Geographic Special - "9/11 Science and Conspiracy" Debunks Thermite Myth

Welcome to the Forum.

Apart from ad Hominem, viz. impugning the show on the basis of a relationship with the Fox network, did you actually have an argument? We're not too impressed with mere name-calling.

Is there among you guys ANYONE who could make the statement: "I know that there have been false flag ops before. And I sure do believe, that people behind Bush such as Cheney, Rummy, Bush Sr., Ashcroft, Wolfowitz and many others are the most evil scum on earth and could pull this off with secret branches of CIA/FBI as their servants - but I don't think there's any proof of it."?

No, there isn't. We don't believe things blindly here. And there is evidence for the official account of 9/11. Tens of thousands of pages of it. If you aren't capable of researching, reading and understanding it, that is not our fault.

Go ahead and show us what Nat Geo got wrong. We'll wait.

I love twoofie socks...

I was just thinking the same, actually: spending time inhere must be like taking a pill that convinces "debunkers", that the truth movement is dead - and claiming "entertainment!" is to cover that fact up.

that is why Spam.com gets more daily hits than ALL of the twoof websites together, and why most 9/11 twoof groups have trouble getting more than 20 people together... (or maybe it is because mom and dad won't give them a ride, who knows)

Anyways, Nat Geo is funny enough owned 50% by Fox Cable Networks a.k.a. Rupert Murdoch, which again makes the documentary truly plausible and prooves that there's no conspiracy and that only paranoia lives in truther land... DUH!

Oh the MSM is in on it crapola.... ROFLMAO. Of course Aaaarrrrrrggggg Rupert Murdoch is the devil. (snort)

I will, though, agree about Gage & co. being a little light minded on one point: agreeing to star in a show like this one, is stupid without demanding to be in on the editing. Of course this MSM channel'd make them look bogus - it's their job.

The MSM doesn't have to try to make them look stupid. They don't need creative editing... who went on hardfire with cardboard boxes? huh? Which theologian was completely dismantled over 187pages which found over 150 LIES, DISTORTIONS or outright fabrications? And then we have discredited and dismissed physicists... oh and I can't leave out the pizza delivery boy.

They didn't have to do any editing hatchet jobs.

According to the nano-thermite theory - as well as many of the 9/11 CT subjects - there seem to be 2 realities: (Google: "Why the Harrit 9/11 Nano-thermite paper has not yet been debunked" and pick the top result.)

nanothermite? REally? Please provide a sample, or anything else.

as to the answer "why the harrit paper hasn't been debunked" it has repeatedly. They haven't bothered to publish in any peer reviewed journals because the twoofs didn't either. (bentham? really? Poor pitiful twoof go back to school)

Just to get it straight: being a truther, I'm in no way paranoid. I actually feel gifted,

EXACTLY. It makes you feel smart. So smart that you can find a conspiracy that BILLIONS of other people can't see. That you have figured out stuff that professional engineers miss, or are too afraid to say. You are the new Walter mitty breaking the story of the century.

It isn't paranoia, just delusions of adequecy. You should try some new meds twoof.

that the dark times that'll eventually occur due to programmed sheep minds will not come as a shock to me. But of course, arguing with blind sheep can be FRUSTRATING - that's why there's no need for truthers to enter too much inhere. We'll leave this playground to the ones who basically have their belives because their brains are in no way capable of believing, that an inside job at least could be a POSSIBILITY.

Oh I love it. I absolutely adore it. ROFLMAO. If you have PROOF, then provide it. I'm not asking for rocket science, just good science.

The reason you don't come in here twoof is you get owned repeatedly and badly. It is hard to deal with having your delusions completely shredded by professionals and experts.

Is it a possibility? Sure. There is a possibility that a meteorite will fall from the sky as I am typing this and kill me. There is a possibility that Shania Twain will knock on my front door and ask me to have mad passionate sex wit her...

You are asking for possibilities, yes it is possible that something could have occured. that is a VAST difference from the evidence that is available. that is a vast difference from what the FACTS show.

This is the same government that spends $500 on hammers and toilet seats. This is the same government who has leaks about EVERYTHING possible. But on 9/11 they made a conspiracy so tight it has NEVER LEAKED. So tight that after 8 years NO ONE ANYWHERE has said a word to ANYONE. Operational security soooooo tight that a handful of quacks, college drop outs, a discredited physicist, a theologian and a pizza delivery boy could figure it out.

But let me know if their is. Is there among you guys ANYONE who could make the statement: "I know that there have been false flag ops before.
There have been false flag operations in the past. yes

And I sure do believe, that people behind Bush such as Cheney, Rummy, Bush Sr., Ashcroft, Wolfowitz and many others are the most evil scum on earth

There you go twoof. That is your REAL motivation. You think that GWB and his group were EVIL. Ok. I detest the man and think that he and his cabal hurt America. But there is NO PROOF of MIHOP or LIHOP.

Did they use 9/11? you bet. Did they MIHOP or LIHOP? NO.

and could pull this off with secret branches of CIA/FBI as their servants - but I don't think there's any proof of it."?

secret branches of the cia/fbi? Rrrrriiiiiiggggghhhhhttttt. Again these secret branches that has no one knowing about it or unable to do anything against it. Yup... and they have super silent explosives, and holographic jets and the ability to have hundreds of people in the towers for 6 months in each building w/otu anyone noticing, with some super duper new way of getting the explosives to work. Yup the Rube Goldberg (OMG JOOOOOOZZZZ!!!!!) conspiracy machine to bring down the towers

So we have a new sock... what HI again? man your last sock hasn't even been deleted yet.

You prooved my point EXCACTLY ;)

And I'm not talking about believeing that there WAS an inside job. I'm talking about believing, that even if there wasn't, these NWO people WERE/ARE able to pull it off.

Get it...?

Upon what do you base your belief of this 'organization' as a real entity, and if you could actually ever provide a reason for any sane person to believe this organization existed, upon what do you base your estimation of their capabilities? What (if any) are your standards for belief?

Our government can't even create a meager slush fund through the purchase of 500 dollar toilet seats and 300 dollar hammers without getting busted, how is it reasonable to believe they could be capable of such a massive operation as engineering 9/11?

Go ahead and show us what Nat Geo got wrong. We'll wait.

Already did (Google "Why nano-thermite has not been debunked" and pick top result.)

But with you believing in one "sort" of truth and me in another, there isn't really no point, is there...?

Now my biggest issue with the tests that NG ran are
1. in the thermite test, I think they should have had a load on the beam they were testing. Yes the thermite didn't burn through, but when the beam was at its hottest, was it hot enough that it lost enough structural strength that carrying a load it would collapse?
2. I would have liked to see a slightly different testing method of the thermite. Not an inverted cone, but somethign more like a screw style wrapped around the outside of the column. As the thermite runs down the clay packed "screw" maybe it would do a better job.
3. I would have preferred to have the NG crew ask the twoofs what type of experiments would prove/disprove it in their minds and then make the tests EXACTLY like the twoofs state. It would have conclusively destroyed their arguments.
4. I REALLLLLLY didn't like the female narrators voice... it was bland and atonal... ick.

You get extra points for being honest and expressing your concerns about the "experiments" and being one of the few to have the integrity to see what was so horrible about this production.

I also agree about the narrator. Anyone who has ever taken any kind of film or video production/editing classes can see how lighting, editing, pacing, and script are all subjective ways to manipulate the audience's feelings towards the subject. The fact that anyone who questions the official story is a "truther" or "conspiracy theorist" is just a cheap trick to conflate all criticism and demonize the opponent.

Again, a horrible production.

But the fact of the matter is that the lying morons that they had on the show are twoofers and conspiracy theorists (and four of the most "prominent" ones at that) so it is just calling it how it is.

A fine example of circular reasoning.

Doesn't mean it's wrong. Are you denying that the lying morons Do Over Dylan, David Ray Grifter, Carboard Gage, and Thermite Jones are conpiracy theorists?

A fine example of circular reasoning.
Just for ***** and giggles:
Were the remains of the passengers and crew of Flight 77, identified via DNA, found inside Pentagon? "Yes" or "no" will do Red.

Note to all: RedIbis will not answer this question.

Have you worked up the courage to answer this yet Red?

A fine example of circular reasoning.

Gage pretty much showed his incompetence either way. I wasn't impressed by his performance nor his demonstration of knowledge in the subject. I don't think Nat Geo's presentation was stellar but it got some fundamental points across which Gage -- had he the competence to understand them -- could have capitalized on. One of my gripes with this documentary is I don't think they went far enough to show just how wrong Gage is, and their coverage of the WTC fires is only one area. DRG clearly didn't any better considering he recycled old quote mining tactics

Yeah Red, as I said a few days ago, and i think you failed to address, I think the special would have been much more effective had they focused on the stronger evidence, such as the DNA evidence at the Pentagon.

Don't you agree Red? You know, about the strong DNA evidence at the Pentagon? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

Some posts moved to AAH.

Discussion on 'black ops' split to new thread.

Keep it civil and on-topic from now on please.

I'm torrent challenged. How do I make that work? I cannot see the portions posted by members on YouTube because I just get a message saying "this video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions". :(

You would have to download a torrent client first. Google for one and a torrent faq.

I've just uploaded an edit of part of the program. I didn't deal with the experiments but with some statements by Dylan Avery, David Ray Griffin and Richard Gage and some comments in reply by Matt Taibbi and David Aaronovitch.

Thanks to all of you who offered information and suggestions re: torrents. I tried the first suggestion, utorrent, last night and downloaded the show, but when I tried to play it today, I could only get audio, no video. So, today, I got Vuze and then downloaded the show again and it is working.

Cheers,
Lash
