September is here and we can probably anticipate a nice helping of Stundilicious, Stundiable Stundies. Remember that a good Stundie is not just about Conspiracy Theories but is funny and concise. It may not make you lose faith in humanity but it certainly is a risk....so tread carefully and let those nominations roll like a bad Killtown analogy.

It will be up Thursday morning. I've been moving a new roommate in this week and it's been wearing me out because I'm being forced to sell off a lot of stuff in a yard sale to make room. Yes, my old roommate left a lot of stuff behind and just told me to sell it off or junk it.


On the plus side I've made $1500 off his old stuff so far. :cool:
 
omg...seriously? a plane is pretty much a flying boat with fuel in the wings. Tell me how they are "designed" not to "explode" on impact, considering that its a flying fuel tank?

They're designed not to go all Hollywood and explode into a ball of fire the second they hit the ground in a crash landing. I dont think "Plowing through a skyscraper" is on the Boeing checklist. Well, maybe these days it is.

I'm not sure which is worst - not knowing the difference between a request for explanation and an appeal to authority, not understanding the distinction between a valid and an invalid appeal to authority, or the rather strange implication that we should accept his assertions because he doesn't know how to prove them.

the quote needs more context

to anyone confused by this, shes responding to someone who said Jones et al should have tested their paint chips in an inert atmosphere, to prove it was thermite (self-oxidizing) and not just some other material combusting

the stundie nominee, is saying the oxygen came from the thermite, not the atmosphere, completely ignoring the fact that this would need to be proven by burning it in an inert atmosphere
