Jesus, Jones is a pathological liar. His e-mails are unbelievable.

Here he is asking the producers to fraudulently obtain some materials:

"I urge you to contact Mr. Erickson at LANL and request at least three "prototype" samples of super-thermite matches. Since his interest is in "commercializing", I would recommend telling him that you are doing a special which addresses super-thermite and that this will give his product "free advertising", or something like that... I emailed him several months ago, but I lacked an approach that would help with his "commercializing" the product, which was his interest. I think you could succeed if you tried."

Here he is lying about the amount of paint chips he found:

These email hit at the heart of the nano/super thermite issue. Why has Jones not procured some of this super thermite, and demonstrated it himself? When given the opportunity to do it in front of an international audience, he balks and is now trying to pass the buck.
 
There certainly isn't many debunkers here parading this piece of entertainment out as some kind of victory. Is it embarrassing to debunkers that these types of shows are still being produced in 2009? Why is 9/11 conspiracy still so huge?
 
and then back to conventional HE
I think that super-thermite "matches" of this type could very well have been used to trigger more conventional explosives such as C4 in the WTC buildings.

The fact that National Geographic is making a special about it 8 years later for one. 9/11 conspiracy is not only not going away it has a momentum greater than something as huge as JFK conspiracy. The years go by and the conspiracy grows because of the lack of adequate investigation. You and your breed help it grow by discouraging that investigation. Why not end it? A real investigation could be the real debunking. But for some reason you don't want that.

National Geographic also does shows about Bigfoot, Nessy, and alien abductions. its called profit. they need it.

the JFK conspiracy theory movement is very..very small. so if the 9-11 truth movement is bigger then the JFK movement, that ain't sayin' much.

I highly doubt that any debunkers or skeptics get embarrassed (except perhaps empathetically so) when they see a show exposing the garbage that truthers are pushing.

Do you think NASA was embarrassed when natgeo ran a special on the moan landing hoax conspiracy-theorists?

Neither do you guys evidently. Years go by and NO efforts are made by the TM to test thermite against WTC-thickness of steel beams. I wonder why....

Years go by and no efforts by Jones to have his BS paper peer-reviewed anywhere but in his OWN journal and a vanity rag that will publish pure gibberish for $800. What do you suppose Jones' is waiting for? Why not get a REAL peer-review?

As for your precious new investigation....

Who funds it?
Who testifies?
Who passes final judgment?

If it's so huge why is it that most of the proponents of the '9/11 truth movement' who have been banned on this forum are sock-puppets of previously banned members?

One would think that if this 'movement' were, indeed, huge there would be no need for sock-puppetry to bolster their number here in this obscure corner of the internet.

After all, Richard Gage claims AE911 has....what? - 836,324 engineers now? Plus he's got a theology prof and Steven Jones while his magic super-dooper-nano-mega-thermite paint chips.

With such an incredible array of talent on hand, why on earth is the TM not having a new investigation? What's the delay?
