they already were somewhat anti-Semitic. but the demoralizing loss of WW1, the totally unfair Treaty of Versaille, and the Great Depression, allowed the bigots and demagogues in Germany take advantage of the fear and vulnerability of the German people and to exploit the already existing hatred of Jews. do not forget that Germany blaimed the Jews...and the Poles, Communists, liberals, democrats, handicapped, homosexuals, Gypsies, mentally ill, etc...for their problems.

Did Germany turn on the Jews simply due to the Zimmerman letter, and author of the Weimar constitution being a Jew? Please...spare us the simplistic and unsophisticated answers to complicated issues.

Plus the Weimar Constitution was a recipe for disaster. Its parliamentary rules were fatally flawed, and led to numerous deadlocks in the German govt., and allowed the President to use emergency powers and restrict almost all civil rights in the event of any kind of emergency.

So, you in all earnest want to make me believe that in 39 years (1900-1939) time Jewish population increased from 12.2M to 18.2M. That means that the average Jewish family had 8 children, a figure that dropped to 2 after the war. That's a rather strange change in 'breeding behavior'. And I don't accept that. That's the rat I am not buying. I simply don't trust these figures from Israeli sources. They had to come up with these figures in order to explain the holocaust story. The more sensible explanation is the one that revisionists hold, namely that the Jews did not change average family size in the 20th century and that means the following figures:

1890 - 7,8
1910 - 8.6
1930 - 11,0
1950 - 11,9
1970 - 12,2
1990 - 12,9

So, a steady increase of 700-800 thousand per 20 years, with a negative dip of a few hundred thousand because of the 'holocaust'.

The revisionists accept the post-war population figures, not the pre-war ones for the reason given: the absurd change in procreation behavior.

fare enough. i too was confused by these rather high natural growth rates.

but it turns out that many other groups also had a very high growth rate.

for example, the Palestinian-Arab population went from 673,000 in 1922 to 1,196,000 in 1945. that's an 100% increase in 23 years.

The Jews had a 50% increase in twice that amount of time.

so you are telling me, that you will accept a doubling of a population in 23 years..but NOT a 50% increase in 39???

what sorta logic does this follow?

now, as to why the jewish natural pop. growth rate decreased sooo dramatically after WW2, it can because were in SHOCK!!!

plus, along with not accepting growth rates that are not that unusual for the time, you have failed to provide any evidence that there were indeed exxagerated or faked.

unless you can provide some evidence that the pre-war numbers are fake (which would require a massive conspiracy going back 45 years from 1945).....I will continue to consider them to be valid.

First, they were anti-semitic to begin with. Second, they were too much of a bunch of self-absorbed, jingoistic, nationalist jerks to admit they´d started and lost an unwinnable war. And, in combination of both abominable traits, decided to blame the Jews, because a real patriot never admits that his country might have done wrong.
