Encountered my first "Truther" today

Isn't it also illegal to falsely accuse someone of murder? So that would be 2,998 counts of false accusation of murder right?
 
I met my first truther a few weeks ago. We're both in the Navy and work in the same building. I see him every day but the topic of 9/11 came up one day. I asked him what makes him think it was a conspiracy and he said, "It was the first time in history that fire melted steel."!

Wow, did you ask him when he thought that was? (obviously he's not talking about 9/11/01 if he's referring to the first time fire melted steel). Did you ask him what he was talking about?

no where in this thread has Tri's story been "exposed as a fabrication."

please provide a citation or offer an apology for slandering Tri.

RedIbis is actually very consistent for a "truther."

His position on the zany "pull it" nonsense is, I really, really want to believe that "pull it" has something to do with controlled demolition.

His position on the collapse of WTC 7 is, I really, really want to believe that computer simulations can't help serious researchers figure out why a structure failed.

His position on the crash of U93 is, I really, really want to believe that some form of chemical testing of the soil in Shanksville will make the debris from the plane vanish.

His position here is, I really, really want to believe that Tri's story was exposed as a fabrication.

i agree that an apology is in order

i dont find his story all that strange
ive met truthers (mostly while working) and i know a couple personally
they all seem very "quirky"
though none (that werent my friends) have ever started with me, maybe cause i was twice their size with large heavy tools in my hand lol, maybe cause i didnt have my family with me
either way, provocation on their part would have been met with "disastrous" results (physically and professionally)
im glad tri kept his cool

other than that im sure it wasnt a "wicked awesome" weekend in beantown lol

RedIbis is on record accusing FDNY firefighters of mass murder, so I find it difficult to take anything he says seriously.

So,

Triforcharity relates a personal experience in which he demonstrated remarkable restraint. He then shows a very admirable attitude regarding this kid who was arrested. Tri has concern for the well being of someone who, at first glance, he should not be concerned about. He sends the kid some money, stamps, and an invitation to talk, He even offers to visit the kid.

And all you resident truthers can do is accuse Triforcharity of fabricating the whole incident? You are calling the man a liar? What the hell is wrong with you people? Not everyone in this world who disagrees with you is a liar. Because Tri has very different views than truthers does not make the man a liar. You people are pathetic, you make me sick with all your holier than thou, self righteous garbage. Tri has demonstrated both his professional demenor, and his empathy for someone he could easily have no empathy for at all.

And for that, he's called a liar. And truthers wonder why people despise them.
