Encountered my first "Truther" today

This can be hard. My son was 3 at the time and his preschool teacher recommended not letting him see any of the news and basically shield him from the event. I thought this was wrong and explained everything and answered all of his questions. I have to say I was surprised how well he absorbed the information. I think he thought, as long a dad was comfortable so should he be. 8 years later he has no problems understanding world events and often explains things like this to his friends. In retrospect, I wouldn't have done anything different

I would be the God of YouTube if I got that on video. Especially since two of the guys at my station specifically are from NYC, as am I. The hillarity that would ensue would be breathtaking.

Now, he is being charged with a felony, and a misdemeanor. He is still in jail under no bail, as the judge deamed him a threat to the community. So, they gave him no bond. Yay!! The guy needs to be off the street.

Isn't it though?? I go to GZ every year to pay my respects, and have not ONCE been accosted by those rbowl movements. I think it is because I stop by 10 house, (My old station) and meet up with a bunch of the guys from FDNY, and go down as a group. They typically won't bother a bunch of us, but if you are caught alone?? Forget it, its all over, so to speak.

When I'm in NYC go to TEN house and look at bronze plaque on wall - silently reading off
the names. A family member of a member of our department is there - was in command
of LADDER 11 that day Died with entire crew in WTC 3 when towers collapsed on it

So far haven't seen any of these clowns . Do run into their stickers plastered around

First off, I will not post his name on here. Why you ask?? Because its just not right. You could go get HIS record, get that FOIA request put in, and get my name. I am NOT that stupid!! Der. Plus, he doesn't need to be slandered by name all over the interwebs. I have a LITTLE more respect for people than that. Especially since this is a person matter.

I went out of my way last year to encounter (and videotape) some local truthers.... all three of them. The experience was interesting if slightly frustrating.

I actually liked David, the senior member of the group.



Josh, the young man, was a little creepy and Sarah, the young girl, was entertainingly loopy.

She wasn't too pleased when the videos turned up on You Tube, however. :eek:

I'm asking because I can't find anyone who was arrested for false imprisonment in Brevard county on 7/26 (or 7/25, or 7/27).

The second quote (obviously) just re-affirms that it was a felony & misdemeanor.

Too bad it wasn't Brevard County, just as Hokulele said. And no, before you go and "just ask questions" I will not let his name get out. Like I said, I have a little more common sense than that. Deep, you're not going to get me to post his arresting county here. He is in enough trouble all on his own, he doesn't need to be trashed on the internet by me or anyone else. Plus, like I said before, I value my privacy. Especially from the likes of the TM. I don't trust those people.

Interesting. I'm sure Sarah's other arguments are very compelling.

90% of these people are under 25. What's it like if you're the other 10%, and the under 25's are your main peer group? I've always wondered how Alex Jones feels about always hanging out with people he must consider kids. I bet he feels a lot like Matthew McConaughey's character in "Dazed and Confused."
