Thursday Breakfast at the Garden Buffet

The last two TAM's those of us arriving before Thursday tried to meetup for Breakfast at the Buffet (I think it is a requirement that every casino has a Buffet). Normally they do not allow you to reserve an area, but if we all show up together and ask (politely) to be seated in the same general area, there shouldn't be too many problems.

According to the Southpoint website, the Breakfast is $6.95, and should be all-you-can-eat (and I can demonstrate why it is unwise to take me to breakfast buffets..:eye-poppi).

How does 8:15AM sound as a gathering time, we congregate near the Garden Buffet entrance (if you don't know anyone, just look for the 30+ geeks clumped together) and we'll proceed from there.

Don't need confirmation or numbers, just show up, eat, and talk.
 
My only morning to sleep in...! But there's an awfully good chance I'll be there. :)
 
I should be rolling into town about this time. No promises, but I'll holler if I'm there.

I'll be driving over night, so it may be 8am, or it could be 10 or 11 depending on my speed and sleep and etc.

May also carpool, so...but yeah. Bottom line: sounds like a good idea. :)

Waitress: ...or Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale Marquisner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and vodka.

Floozy: Have you got anything without vodka?

Waitress: Well, there's vodka egg sausage and vodka, that's not got much vodka in it.

Floozy: I don't want ANY vodka!

Marquis: Why can't she have egg bacon vodka and sausage?

Floozy: THAT'S got vodka in it!

Marquis: Hasn't got as much vodka in it as vodka egg sausage and vodka, has it?

Russians: Vodka vodka vodka vodka... (Crescendo through next few lines...)

Floozy: Could you do the egg bacon vodka and sausage without the vodka then?

Waitress: Urgghh!

Floozy: What do you mean 'Urgghh'? I don't like vodka!

Russians: Lovely vodka! Wonderful vodka!

Waitress: Shut up!

Russians: Lovely vodka! Wonderful vodka!

Waitress: Shut up! (Russians stop) Bloody Russians! You can't have egg bacon vodka and sausage without the vodka.

Floozy: I don't like vodka!

Marquis: Sshh, dear, don't cause a fuss. I'll have your vodka. I love it. I'm having vodka vodka vodka vodka vodka vodka vodka beaked beans vodka vodka vodka and vodka!

Russians: Vodka vodka vodka vodka. Lovely vodka! Wonderful vodka!

Waitress: Shut up!! Baked beans are off.

Marquis: Well could I have her vodka instead of the baked beans then?

Waitress: You mean vodka vodka vodka vodka vodka vodka... (but it is too late and the Russians drown her words)

Grizzled Waitress: This is Vegas honey, you can smoke in church.

This breakfast is a great idea, since getting dropped off at the hotel in the morning when my sister is on her way to work is easiest for me.

Pool after Breakfast?
 
Anyone up for a later time? I'm thinking maybe 9:30 or 10:00. That way you can sleep in, have breakfast, and skip lunch.

That's not to say I won't make the 8:15 feeding, but I won't really know until I see how late I am up Wed night.
 
I'm in for either time. Wed afternoon 2-hour nap will be enough for my body to recover from 13+ hours of flights and airport gymnastics.

ETA: I think....

I gotta party with Patricio. A 2-hour nap on Wednesday, and he's good through breakfast either time on Thursday. After 13 hours of flights and airports!

Let's see, I'll just need to adjust the glucose and caffeine IV drip...
