Netanyahu accepts Palestinian State!

There is a simple distinction Parky. To me, any nation needs to be the "home of its citizens" in order to be regarded as a modern democracy. Can you point out the different classes of citizens in the Czech republic?

Home of "the Jews" home of "the whites" please explain to me the difference again?

Italy is home of the Vatican. Greece is home of the Greek Orthodox Church. England is home of the Church of England. Australia, sadly, was home of White Australia for 75 years, predecessor of apartheid.

It's so easy to score points with you. The school books used by the PA are of Jordanian origin, and their use has been approved by the Israeli government.

Hillary Clinton isn't interested in scoring silly chat room points. She is interested in the more important issue of abolishing hate-filled school books in the so-called Palestinian school system that poison young so-called Palestinian minds. Jordan doesn't permit Jews to live there, so, I wouldn't be surprised if the anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli books originate in Jordan. I'm not aware of Israel approving books for the Palestinian school system since the West Bank and Gaza are self-governing.

really? can you source that.

Sorry, it is true.
why can you not backup your claim then?
you could would you have claimed it about Saudi Arabia, but not with jordan.

yet another huge fail on your side.

no where does this say "Jews may not be citizens".

Furthermore,

"Jordan has welcomed a number of Israeli companies to open plants in Jordan. Israeli tourists visit Jordan as well as Jewish citizens of other countries. Jordan has no laws barring Jews from its territory as in the case of Saudi Arabia. In the year following the 1994 Israel-Jordan treaty, some 60,000 to 80,000 Israeli tourists had visited Jordan. "

You Fail. Again.

And that doesn't even come close to saying that "Jordan doesn't permit Jews to live there." It doesn't even say Jews can't be citizens, only that Palestinian Jews from that time period don't qualify for automatic citizenship.

It does. That's why the Jewish population of Jordan is zero. Correction: A few years ago, I did meet a Jordanian Jew who acknowledged he was the only Jew living in Jordan at the time. I don't know his whereabouts today.

Discriminatory, yeah, but nowhere close to "Jordan doesn't permit Jews to live there."

A state would never openly bar any group of people, not even Jews, in a legal document pertaining to citizenship that is available to the public and registered with the UN, for goodness sake. You must know this, no? That would be a bit inappropriate, to say the least. It does come dangerously close in doing so, however, by stating that only Palestinian nationals who are not Jewish may obtain Jordanian citizenship. Read between the lines, this is not brain surgery.

Is is commonly known that Jews cannot obtain Jordanian citizenship nor own land. If you harbor any doubts, may I suggest you travel to Jordan and find out? Otherwise, continue the debate with yourself.

there seem to be no law that says Jews cannot live in Jordan.

Fairly clumsy attempt at misrepresentation.

If you look at the law it says that Jews who........

"possessed Palestinian nationality before 15 May 1948 and was a regular resident in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan between 20 December 1949 and 16 February 1954;"

were not offered citizenship.

that just about covers all Jews doesn't it.

Covers all Jews in Palestine.

Saying that doesn't actually make it true. Sorry.

That's why the Jewish population of Jordan is zero.

We've already established, again beyond any reasonable doubt, that this isn't true. Sorry.

Double-fail.

No. It may be commonly asserted, but it is in no way known.

If you harbor any doubts, may I suggest you travel to Jordan and find out? Otherwise, continue the debate with yourself.

Telling people to go there doesn't magically make your claims true, either.
