The question is, how much of the permafrost might thaw and what amounts of methane might be generated.

an easier approach might be....

We know how much methane impacts warming ....25 x C02
We know how much methane release is increasing yearly....

Solve for how much methane to bring about a similar amount of warming as the increase in CO2 for 280 ppm for 380 ppm.....

finger in the wind guess...not a whole hell of a lot....:boggled:

You will not have any comments split off so long as you abide by the Membership Agreement. Take a few minutes off from your studies to read it carefully, especially the general guidelines about being civil and polite as well as rule 12 and rule 11. If you feel someone is violating a rule, the proper procedure is to report it. Do not reply in kind.
