Ok, I called a phonenumber in Morocco.

I could almost not hear the guys voice (although I did hear a child in the background) and I did not hear any thoughts.

It went a bit, for like 10 minutes:

with lots of static.

If someone else wants to try... nothing happening for me here.

We did not even get that far...

I kept repeating;

"I am calling you for the experiment, can we start it?"

But got nothing but static.

So here is where I am at:

1) He did not hear me, which because of the tremendous noise on the line is quite possible.

2) We did start, but I heard nothing.
 
Wow, you sure are way more passionate about testing claims than I will ever be Realpaladin. Sounds like the offer from Abr is impractal to say the least. Since the phono connection is so shoddy perhaps he/she should focus on being tested locally first.

Then again I'm still very confused why telepathy would need a phoneline to work. Sort of shoots down the whole point of the concept.

Well, I never want to give quarter to people stating 'but nobody takes me on'.

I will always be game (within financial and physical reason).

The whole story could still be explained with a 'talking over the phone is hearing my thoughts' kind of lark.

But I would not accept that; I can hear the vocalization of someone's conscious thoughts over the phone line; not his thoughts.

So I will see. ABR now has my phone-number as well so in theory he could call me to retry, I would not mind at all.
 
Suspicion: This is all some Moroccan's version of a 419 scam. Monitor your finances closely, RP.
 
Fnord: not new to the game. Whenever I go into this I make a conscious decision that I can lose a couple of 100 euro on it.
