What is her name? I'll call her.
I didn't get her name. I spoke briefly with one woman, who told me I wanted to talk with the executive producer.
What is her name? I'll call her.
The woman didn't talk with me for twenty minutes because she regarded me as a fool. She was extremely defensive, claiming that the segment aired over the objections of most of the staff. She became unpleasant when I pressed her on the lack of balance. Why shouldn't people call this show to protest a terrible decision?
Agreed. I have heard a lot of woo on Air America, come to think of it.
It's called "Ratings".
Way to rationalize things. Good job!
Let's not get into a liberal vs. conservative debate here. The mainstream media are notorious for indulging crackpots. How many times have you heard some nut introduced as a "psychic"? There are no real psychics; there are only self-styled psychics.
Are you suggesting that Murdoch wants to promote 9/11 conspiracy nonsense? To what end?
Galileo is on his own little wavelength.

Yup, and it saddens me. The good news is Sam Seder is consistently fact-based and hard on the Twoofers.
Is Lionel still on AA? I've listened to on-and-off for 20 years and love his shtick and he's hard-core anti-woo for everything that Randi would agree with except he gives the Twoofers airtime. I've written to him a few times and tried to clue him in.
(AA left NYC air a long time ago and I've lost track of where these people are on the Internets. )
I am sure you can see TV and Radio Stations all over the world do the same damn thing.
I agree it is sad, but don't think it is a particularly American phenomenon.
Randi Rhodes was the worst for promoting The Twoof. She did not have them as guests, but several times she went into Classic Twoofer rants. When challenged on this, Wildcat (whom I miss badly) posted a line to an audio of Rhodes. It was like a lady Alex Jones, sadly.

I think Galileo needs to listen to the advice he gave to Cavalieri. You do remember don't don't you?
Galileo posts the biggest failed ideas on 911.I think you mean 29 to 130,000
Wildcat (whom I miss badly)
Galileo, thanks for the laughs man. I mean I can only assume this is all an act for laughs and that you don't really carry yourself this way.
Being someone on the outside who looks at both sides, you make the Truth Movement look like a group of scary, maniacal, potentially dangerous people. Nice!

Sadly he thinks he is the Galileo. A few posts destroy what was one of the fathers of modern science now reduced to the father of idiotic posts on 911.
