The station asked Gage to confirm that he is an architerct. He has never designed anything bigger than a gymnasium. He is not a structural engineer--obviously! I stated specific errors that Gage made. Gage's errors are not matters of opinion: they are demonstrable. You refer to people vastly smarter, more knowledgeable, and far saner than yourself as idiots. If enough of those "idiots" call the station, irresponsible producers might change their ways.

well actually shes probably right. There's just enough exposure for the 9/11 revisionist movement that the average citizen without an axe to grind or an agenda will just blow them off with no notice at all as a curiosity.. And anyone with any doubts can quickly do 20 minutes of googlevestigating to realize they are charlatans and snake oil salesman. It is to the point now that the majority are aware of a minuscule 911 revisionist movement yet they take no political action or organise any sort of protest. There were more people showing up in Manhattan yesterday protesting the Iran elections than there ever were for the 911 revisionist movement.
 
Be sure when you guys call in to mention the whacked out thermal expansion theory. Just last week another structure went down when the air conditioning went out for three hours.

It has been pointed out many times that your inability to understand something doesn't make much difference in the overall scheme. Engineers and physicists are mindful of their audience. They want to get it right, not to please unintelligent internet trolls, but to survive the scrutiny of their peers.

The woman didn't talk with me for twenty minutes because she regarded me as a fool. She was extremely defensive, claiming that the segment aired over the objections of most of the staff. She became unpleasant when I pressed her on the lack of balance. Why shouldn't people call this show to protest a terrible decision?

I am sure you can see TV and Radio Stations all over the world do the same damn thing.
I agree it is sad, but don't think it is a particularly American phenomenon.
