Bush lied about seeing the first plane hit the North Tower, so I watched this video of President Bush, three months after September 11th, 2001, telling an audience that he saw the first plane fly into one of the twin towers while he was at that Elementary school on 9/11, "because the TV was clearly on inside the school". He said, "I thought to myself, wow, what a stupid pilot."

Later, while inside the classroom, reading a book which was upside down in his hands, President Bush was informed that a second plane had crashed into one of the twin towers. I simply can't believe any of this, can you?

Then, this same crazy Truther told me that WTC Building Number 7 fell as the result of a controlled demolition which had to have been planned weeks in advance of 9/11. I was appalled by such traitorous accusations.

Mark Roberts was clearly correct about WTC Building Number 7 by saying that the building was pulled by the New York City Fire Department due to the building being dangerously close to collapse anyway.

The fire department managed to enter this burning building, attach hundreds of steel cables, wire up the necessary explosives, or whatever they actually did, and make this building collapse in an almost perfect controlled-looking fashion, at free fall speed, into its own footprint. And, according to Mark Roberts, all of this was orchestrated in just a few hours on September 11, 2001.

Wow, I say congratulations to the FDNY for being so incredibly courageous and highly effective in bringing this building down so quickly and safely, and on such short notice. Simply fantastic!

Then, another crazy Truther tried to tell me that American Airlines flight number 11 (AA11) did not officially exist on September 11th, 2001. He said that The Bureau of Transportation logs every flight ever scheduled from U.S. Airports and that on 9/11/2001 the official logs did not record flight AA11.

Clearly, he has to be crazy. Everyone knows this plane hit the North tower.

Then he said that the plane that struck the South Tower, United Airlines flight 175, (UA175), had the tail number N612UA. But, according to FAA official records, this plane still has a valid registration, meaning this plane did not crash at all! Totally insane!

The crazy truther who informed me about the airplanes is Gerard Holmgren. Perhaps you can check it out, as unbelievable as all this is.

Mr. Holmgren even went on to say that flight AA77, the flight that crashed into the Pentagon was just like AA11 in that it was not officially scheduled for any flight on September 11th, 2001.

Of course, I am sure someone in this forum can shed some light on this. It is, after all, totally ridiculous to believe that George W. Bush and our government could have possibly been involved in this horrid crime.

Could you clarify this part? I can't tell if you are joking or being serious or what the hell you are talking about. Mark never said that WTC7 was "pulled". He said that the fire fighting operation was pulled, which it was. Am I falling for a joke here?

The allegation in paragraph 1 is that President Bush was aware in advance of the plans to fly airliners into the Twin Towers because he claimed to have seen flight 11 hit WTC1 on television, something he could not possibly have seen. This requires that Bush, after three months' careful consideration of the options open to him, then made this claim in public, knowing that it could not possibly be believed and that it would expose his role in the conspiracy. While many of us believe GWB to be quite idiotic enough to have done such a thing, a simpler explanation is that he simply conflated his memories of the day.

Paragraph 2 is meaningless drivel.

The allegation in paragraph 3 is that the collapse of WTC7 could not have been due to fire and impact damage from debris falling from WTC1 and must therefore have been a controlled demolition using explosives. This is disproved by the fact that no sufficiently loud report was heard at the time of the collapse. Suggestions that the building was destroyed using thermite are utterly groundless, as no means of demolishing buildings using thermite is or ever has been known.

Paragraphs 4 and 5 are deliberate lies about a current member of the JREF forums. Mark Roberts has never suggested any such thing, nor made any statements that could reasonably be misinterpreted to mean any such thing.

Paragraph 6 is more meaningless drivel.

These are good examples of what is known as the Sacred List fallacy, the assumption that a single official record of an event is more trustworthy than the totality of all other evidence concerning the event. A couple of observations:

Both UA175 and UA93 are listed on the BoT logs, whereas AA11 and AA77 are not. Clearly this is not, therefore, some feature common to the flights destroyed on 9/11. Since the BoT logs are necessarily based on returns from the airlines, it appears that AA and UA have different criteria for reporting a flight for logging; if, for example, UA reported flights at departure and AA reported flights at arrival, this would constitute a perfectly reasonable and non-conspiratorial origin for the discrepancy. In any case, it is hardly unusual for official records to contain errors.

Concerning the tail number registration, this is not the only instance where the registration of a destroyed airplane has not been deleted. Again, it is hardly unusual for official records to contain errors.

Finally, this paragraph is a heavy-handed attempt at satirising a non-existent position on the part of those who, having examined the evidence available, have come to the conclusion that not only were the 9/11 attacks conducted by al-Qaeda, but it is blindingly obvious that they were. My personal feeling is that the Bush administration is probably rather more likely than any other recent US administration to have attempted such an act, but that the evidence is overwhelmingly against it.

Although the OP is a mixture of lies, sneering, credulity and denial, it should be noted that this is by no means unusual for the truth movement.

I haven't seen anyone mention it, but the upside down book claim is also a well known myth. The product of poor photoshop skills. The image is reversed on the back of the book held by GWB.

You forgot to include evidence. Did you do a little-Bush on us and leave out a word or two. I saw (where) the first plane impact(ed). Does 911TruthLies have the same little bush comprehension problem? The idiotic ideas you lifted from 911TruthLies make no sense. The Bush "saw the first impact" delusion of 911TruthLies is funny as they can't comprehend the meaning of his sentence due to blinding bias and lack of knowledge. 911TruthLies needs to get help with their shallow research and poor comprehension skills. With help I think 911TruthLies may start to understand the simple parts of 911 and correct their idiotic delusions you found and posted without thinking or checking the facts.

Hmm hold the presses - According to these plane spotters, the last photo they have found of this plane is April 2000 - I wonder if it is still flying, why have these guys not seen it. I mean they know their stuff - It is their hobby?????
