I'm not sure how well this comes across out of context, but it's a classic example of the mix-and-match, anything-to-sustain-the-fantasy way that a certain poster likes to clutch at straws.

In bill smith's world, a public statement by President Obama that al-Qaeda was responsible for 9/11 is an expression of support for the conspiracy theorists, and a radio show appearance by a nutter is the final proof.

It is a source of constant amusement to see the mental gymnastics truthers go through to tie together completely unrelated events; I guess it is the same exercise they go through when they declare victory even though they have been thoroughly smacked down.

In Canada we never eat "Canadian Bacon" (its "back bacon") and when I was in Denmark I was told not to ask for a "Danish" if I wanted a pastry since everything there would in fact be Danish.

For that matter in Scotland one would have to specify if one wanted a whisky other than the elixers produced locally.

After all, Obama with his proposals of preventative detention and the fact that DHS likely considers all conservatives to be equivalent to domestic terrorists, white supremacists, and militants (the initial DHS report pretty much lumped all conservatives into this group, then later amended the statement -- I think they meant what they said initially but didn't mean to say it) and the like, it sounds awfully convenient that a guy would commit a murder at the US holocaust memorial museum (especially so quickly after Dr. Tiller was murdered)...

I think I have this thing locked up with ULTIMA'S no-air-in-subways idiocy, but I just had to share this as well:

What I'd like to know is why if most people realize JFK was clearly shot in the front of the head and in the front of his throat - something the government doesn't acknowledge - why do they continue to think the government isn't capable of doing other harms to it's own people?

They went and killed one of our Presidents for Christ sake. Why should we trust them in regards to anything anymore...

Well obviously there are no holes in subways. That would let the gravity in.

I miss Malcolm Kirkman, nuts today just aren't of the same class.
 
Ultima is beginning to remind me of the Chris who shall not be named. In that I will be refraining from voting for any U1-isms as I hesitate to vote for a mentally ill person.

Now Bill Smith (noted in post 113 above) on the other hand......... well just plain stupidity I am not above voting for a Stundie.

I just gotta love how the damage to the other WTC buildings was kept "to an absolute minimum".:D
