Considering how many truthers tend to call for the murders of those they disagree with, when they take over with their "revolution" to ban TV and video games, and being the utmost prime examples of paranoia, I would say quite disrespectful.

i have been trying to wrap my mind around this guy and his post in this thread for a while now
and i am baffled
1 how he comes in here and picks something meant to convey one point and
uses it to get his thoughts out with no regards to the topic at hand
and its truly disgusting seeing the topic at hand (need attention?)

i went through his old posts and i dont get what he is getting at with his concrete etc
even if the data isnt available (which it probably is you just have to do a lot of math and have all the structural designs for each part to figure it out)
plus all the other variables like how many coke machines, candy machines, filing cabinets, paper, etc etc (the list is endless) were in there to get a "true" calculation

the collapse model is almost as laughable as Gage's cardboard box example
it looks like a bamboo stick which is imperfect
why didn't you go to the hardware store and buy some 6 foot lengths of 1/2 inch round stock
then fasten the washers to it identically using the same amount of washers all the way down
even so the differences in weights and the way the buildings broke up compared to 1/2" ID washers make this seem... silly

you might be a smart guy on paper but i dont think you have any real hands on experience
i work on big heavy equipment
and i have seen some collapse
it is shocking how destructive heavy steel (2000LBS or more) + gravity can be
even from relatively low heights

especially truther treckies

I understand that was a joke (snippy yet funny)

but
this is kind of an example of what truthers do with pictures

they take a pic of the obvious and distort it
obvious to most people who see that would assume that the stormtrooper is me and the petite girl is my GF

but seeing you cant see either face twisting that can put doubt on what is obvious (making the joke funny, but not a fact) and the joke is my GF is the stormtrooper (again i had a good LOL)

I dont understand why they had to do that at a memorial service.
No matter how the towers were destroyed, those people really died that day. They don't seem to understand that. Most of their arguments spit in the face of those people and their survivors.
