9/11 Truthers... What is your smoking gun?

Why don't you hold everyone to the same standards? It would lend credibility to any member who did, imo.

Has anyone been able to explain how the fires in the two towers were only hot enough to cause structural failure(ie. not melt steel), yet molten metals were found in the rubble piles? Why was the steel hot enough to melt the worker's boots in the weeks post-collapse?

Could the fires that burned in the damaged sections of the towers spread as the building collapsed, and then grow into larger fires below the rubble that reached hotter temperatures?

The reason alternate theories are discredited so quickly is because most of us have been debunking the same old crap for many years. It is proven how the towers collapsed and why. There are literally thousands of pages of documents explaining it. And the questions you just asked have been answered many, MANY times on this forum. There is nothing left to debate over.

most statements held by "truthers" are easily refuted by good science and observation

there is a guide I read it as apparently others here have too

you seem to assume that the towers were empty vessels devoid of anything but concrete and steel
this is stupid

ive melted my work boots by stepping on something that i heated with a propane torch
i have also ruined a few boots (or lit on fire) with the oxy-acetylene lol

i read a blurb somewhere once (just did a search cant find it, thanks truthers for flooding the internet) that said something like 20 tons of paper were delivered daily to the WTC

I assume you have a PC with internet access. You have obviously heard of NIST so may i suggest that you search for what you request, bring it back here and we can disuss it further - again. Or better still, do a search on JREF, see Gravy, Mackey, etc etc. Do you take us all for idiots - I'm sure you have been here before;)

the fatal flaw is the fact you posted a question gone over thousands of times prior
apparently you want another answer

aside from regular office supplies and furniture
these buildings were full of electrical equipment and all sorts of nasty things
ever see a transformer fire?


(side note: looks like another oxygen starved fire lol)

that in a collapse could and would ignite SECONDARY fires

perhaps some of those fires were ignited by the infernos above prior to collapse
but many of those fires were ignited after the collapse fed by the now VERY dense fuel sources
also atomized flammables could start other fires with small sparks
along with hot embers finding their way through the rubble
a small capacitor could start a fire under the right conditions by shorting out and discharging

also the collapse itself trapped pockets of fire making kiln like conditions
again fed by the highly compacted and readily available fuel sources

so seeing that different things could have caused fires and the conditions
finding hot long lasting fires isnt unlikely

as for molten "metal"
what proof do you have that it is steel that is molten
ive heard of the WTC referred to as "the largest aluminum siding job in history" ponder that

Ok, so when the towers collapsed, the crushing motion of the building caused even more fires to burn underground in kiln like conditions for 100 days. This, in turn, was the cause of molten metals, most likely aluminum and heated steel that melted the workers boots.

What type of metal is glowing hot in the famous picture of the crane?

not steel
if that "grappler" had picked up molten steel, the moving parts would seize almost instantly
the hydraulics would rupture (as the cylinder packings and hoses across moving joints are rubber, not to mention heating AW46 that hot isnt advisable lol)

You seem very confident that a collapsing building will cause these types of fires. Flowing molten metals, weeks after the collapses; many, many witnesses.

Wouldn't these fires way down below have trouble getting oxygen? You stated they were incredibly dense.

Wouldn't the concrete and steel, as well as creating some "oven-like areas", also separate and smother the fires somewhat?
