Genetics
I asked for a source not a Word.
Y and X chromosomes.
I asked for a source to a specific question.

Y and X chromosomes.
Ah, DOC's classic fall-back defence when cornered on a scientific topic - find a simple non-scientific phrase in the argument, and demand a source that includes that exact phrase, and when no source can be found with that exact phrase he'll claim victory on the basis that someone used a turn of phrase that isn't in any source, all the while completely ignoring all other arguments and evidence. What is your source; and the phrase "default position" should be in the source.

Y and X chromosomes.
That is the source. Go pick up a good book or type it down in wikipedia if it is too complicated for you.I asked for a source not a Word.
Go use wikipedia. Type down Y-chromosome.I asked for a source to a specific question.
Already did. You either don't read other people's posts or don't understand it.
Nah, I think he is just not able to understand all that "sciencey" stuff. He doesn't even understand his Bible.Truly sad, not to mention dishonest.

DOC, this is not a debate. You have zero knowledge of whatever nonsense you are attempting to spout. We all know you have zero interest in learning anything. Go learn something and stop bothering people who know things you can't even fanthom.

Yawn:You simply answered my rephrased question with the word No. If you explained that NO to my rephrased question, what post did you explain it in?
No. You really need to read up gene transfer and early sexual reproduction. The most basic does not require a "male" or "female" since the organism can be "both".
Are you claiming that Adam was a Hermaphrodite or not male?
No. You have no idea what you are talking about. That is fact.As it stands, I asked for sources to two points you made and I get none. If you don't have sources for what you said you should just admit you made a mistake.
DOC, you wouldn't know a reliable source if it kicked you in the knackers! As it stands, I asked for sources to two points you made and I get none. If you don't have sources for what you said you should just admit you made a mistake.
What I find more amusing is that he is deluded enough to believe he can actually argue science despite his complete ignorance and his failure with arguing for his Bible. He hasn't even read his bible, so the chance of him reading science seems sadly small.

Well then give a source for any lurkers then: they might be interested a source.DOC, you wouldn't know a reliable source if it kicked you in the knackers!
The second sex chromosome of men is the Y of their fathers, thought to have evolved from a degenerate version of an ancient X chromosome as long as 300 million years ago.
The human Y chromosome is both a degenerate and a copycat.
The first accusation is an old one. Scientists believe this male chromosome once had thousands of genes in common with the X chromosome, the other mammalian sex chromosome. Early in mammalian evolution, however, the Y chromosome apparently began to degenerate rapidly. Today, it's a shadow of its former self, containing at most several dozen functional genes.
