Yes he did but if you want to be saved you must first come to the cross and see Jesus bore your sins on that cross. Then if you confess and ask him to forgive you he will. He will not force you but he hopes all come to repentance.

So now you are saying that your God was never, ever willing to forgive anybody of anything until he came down to earth, and commited suicide.

So God's decision was, "If I go to Earth as Jesus and kill myself. I will then be capable of forgiving the people I created to fail, if, and only if, they then go WOW!, what a great thing to do God - I love Jesus!. (How about the Billions that have never, ever heard of him?

If you want to see how ridiculous this seems, imagine that Roman technology had been a bit more advanced and they did your priest in with an electric chair.

Presumably xtians would be walking around with little tiny Ol' Sparkies around their necks, looking just as weird as people wearing crucifixes do now.

No it's not. All Jews could be wrong. In fact, I think they are, just like all other theists. It's only a lie if you know it's not true. Since it is clear that Kathy thinks that she is telling the truth, she's not lying by definition. I, and you presumably, wonder how anyone can be so sure in the face of so many Jews, Buddhists and other Christians claiming the same, but as this is the claim being discussed in this very thread, I think it's rather silly and inflammatory to call it a lie.
