On the evening of March 31st, 2009, Tim Tevebaugh was driving home from work east of Craigmont in the southern Idaho Panhandle (see map below). Across the rolling hay fields, Tim saw a very unusual phenomenon. The snow rollers that he took pictures of are extremely rare because of the unique combination of snow, wind, temperature and moisture needed to create them. They form with light but sticky snow and strong (but not too strong) winds.

Another attempted government coverup. Don't tell me the dark spot on the right horizon on the third photo down isn't a UFO.
 
This happened once in my hometown and made the news. It was really cool to see the rolls. They were sized from just an inch or so in diameter all the way up to a foot or more thick, and carpeted the ground. I guess the aliens had plenty of time to waste that night and didn't feel like flying to South America to make crop circles.

I was working midnights during the Xmas break some years ago, and it was deadly dull. There was a light snow falling, and I had parked my squad car in the middle of one of the big parking lots.
I must have nodded a bit...

When I woke up, the sun was up and the snow had ceased. All over the parking lot, which was covered by about an inch of snow, were little snowballs about 2" in diameter.
I could just barely make out the trails that led to each; there had been just enough wind to pick up the sticky snow and start it rolling.
 
There is a very good reason as to why all 'Alien encounter evidence' can be discounted as trash.

Firstly, if the aliens weren't too picky about whether we saw them or not, they would have introduced themselves to the public. Going on this basis that they are trying to be discrete, we must assume that part of being discrete for an alien, is to remain unseen, as people tend to panic when they see life forms/technology they don't recognize/aren't used to. Now, if they are aliens, then it is obvious that they had the technology to do so. This makes their race profusely more technologically advanced than us. Meaning that (more than likely) they will utilize this technology in order to remain discrete in their dealings. Thus, seeing as they have a rather hefty technological advantage, and an (as yet unidentified) motive to remain discrete, the only way we would have a chance of capturing 'evidence' of them without their permission, is if one of them screwed up badly. However, it makes common sense that you do not send people liable to screw up badly into foreign territory, making any chances of humankind capturing evidence pretty much nil. Plus, your dark spot looks more like a hiker to me :):):)

I don't know if it is or isn't, but what a fascinating phenomenon snow rollers are! Thanks for bringing them to our attention.
