The Truth of Christianity vs. All Other Belief Systems

All those "epiphanies" that people ascribe to one's favorite dieity actually noticing their travails and sticking a finger in, are actually the person's intellect, common sense, and experience all coming together at the same time to point the way out of the problems.
It's quite a genuine uplifting "Eureka" moment, with attendant euphoria at times.
But once recognizing it's just one's own assets mobilizing to aid the sufferer then praising sky daddy becomes irrelevant.
KK in her own way has achieved this level of self-improvement, but is incapable of considering that -she- and she alone has surmounted her situations through her own efforts, and still needs to flagellate her self-image as a "sinner" to think she will feel better.
 
My wife came down with cancer, lymphoma, in 1992, I will not go into the details here about it but many of her girlfriends said they would pray. She needed them to call and talk to her, not pray. She needed me to help her get the treatments she needed, and I did, but I didn’t pray. My late step-father prayed but he also helped a hell of a lot by taking her to her radiation treatments so I didn’t have to take off from work, which till the day I die, I thank him for. I don’t want prayers, I want action, action is the only thing that works, praying is the easy way out and in the end only counts to the one doing.

Seriously, it's not bad. He raises points that Xtians have done (me included) as well. He seems to be addressing fundamentalist Xtianity really (no bad thing).

That is a blatant lie. Why do you lie ? Does Jesus know you're lying ?

Muslims would argue that THEIR truth saves. Buddhists would do the same, etc. Every religion makes the SAME claim, but they are mutually exclusive in many cases.

So I ask again: Which truth ? And how do YOU know it's the right one ?

(NOTE: "I feel it in my heart"-type answers are unacceptable as those other religions say the same thing.)
