Bigfoot: The Patterson Gimlin Film - Part 3

Makaya, thanks for the links! The first one, the mechanical prosthetics, is exactly what I was looking for. However, the second one is I believe Roe's daughter's drawing of the alleged creature, rather than the professional illustration (by Kunzler? Krestler?) I was looking for. The third could be helpful as a visual aid, but mainly I'm looking for the actual math involved as opposed to a pic. Thank you for the help! :D

I personally like Jack Davis's and GhettoSven's analysis of the PGF film Subject. The third link that includes Mclarin has never been evaluated by any professionals, due to the fact that no one even knows if Mclarin walked the same pathway as the Film subject.

Ladies and gentlemen, in order to flesh out my upcoming article with pics, I'm looking for the following jpegs, which I cannot track down (owing to the plethora of BF threads in this forum and my inability to recall which threads I saw which pic in and on what page!). If anyone can help me locate these, I will be much obliged, and will gladly mention you -- by username or real name -- in the AnomalyMAgazine article. Thanks in advance!

* The B&W marketing pic of Johnny Weismuller's Tarzan and a man in a hairy ape-suit, on set during the making of a 1930s Tarzan film.

* The B&W collage pic of mechanical metal hand and face prosthetics used in 1940s gorilla suits.

* The original "breasted female BF" illustration Patterson used as a source for his own drawing.

In addition to these pics, I'm looking for detailed accounts of the five separate measurements which show that Patty is 6'5" or under (barring Krantz', which I have in his 1992 book). These will help me inordinately in showing that Patty is most likely a person in a suit. Thanks again!

Vort, have you considered waiting to submit your article until after Bill makes his presentation to the Yakima group on May 16th?

I'll get right back to you with that. Need to use the search function to get the sourced links.

Thank you, little mak. Who says you can't contribute! ;)

Vort, the five sources are Astrophotographer, Jack D Davis, Ghetto Sven, mangler, and Gigantofootecus/Óðinn.

Ghetto Sven (with math):

Remember, Patty's alleged cast length is 14.5":

"This frame is 207cm = 6'9 height."

"6 x Patty's Foot = 6 x 36.8cm = 221cm = 7'3"

"This is Theorem #1 visualized.

It shows that Patty is shorter than 6'9.

In fact, Theorem #2 shows that she is about 6'2.

The foot cut outs are 71 pixels each. They could even be 76 pixels.

I cut off about 5cm extra to estimate upward."

That should be everything you need for the sources for your article.

BTW, Vort, I would like to have a copies of your article to give to anyone interested along with my "Patty Smasher" piece that I will have ready at the Yakima round-up. Also, please feel free to join me in discussion at the only proponents board I post at, the searchforbigfoot forums. I have just mentioned you upcoming article here:

That second picture little mak posted is not Roe's daughter's picture. It is another female Bigfoot illustration by Patterson.

You're right, GT. That's a point to consider. I assume you are implying that Bill may try to incorporate elements of the article into his presentation.

I actually hadn't thought of that.

I was thinking more along the lines that if Bill presents something new and earth-shattering in Yakima (which I doubt) Vort won't have that information for his paper if he submits it before the party.

Wow! Thanks to one and all for the wealth of responses and links. Those images and measurements are going straight into my article.

I have considered waiting until after the Yakima meeting to post the article, but then Bill has been saying for some time that he would reveal his research and conclusions in August, not May, and I don't want to wait that long. All I'll really be posting is a summary of what I consider the best arguments against the P-G film. If Bill's upcoming revelations (whether in Yakima or afterward) contradict my summaries or opinions, then so be it; I can always post a third article addressing/rebutting his research if need be.

We now know that Patterson included two Sasquatch Females! I wonder if he has got the hots for Patty and her sister-in-laws?

It's worth posting that gif twice in a row. I believe the credit for the creation goes to "wolftrax".
I say this from time to time but I really wish wolftrax would get over here. Tube says he's tried to sign up but couldn't. Weird.

Hey, wolftrax! Come on over here!

Sweet! I just got a PM here from wolftrax. I was mentioning him at SFB and that he tried to join the JREF before but couldn't. He tried again today and was able to join. He was wondering a good place to jump in so I'm offering here.

Hi all,
Juat trying to catch up. Yes that image looks like one I did a few years ago. I htink I lost it once and remade it another time. It's pretty suspicious all the sketches Patterson made pre-filming that have an uncanny resemblance to Patty.

Welcome, finally, to the JREF, wolftrax!:)

No kidding! A guy that rips off another artist and draws this for his book:

...just the year before swindles a large amount of money and then subsequently films exactly what he drew, describing it nearly verbatim as the account of the encounter detailed in his book that he swiped the art for...

Well, as Sweaty would say, that Roger was one lucky fella.
