metamars seems to be taking the lead in the way the truth movement will now look at this.

Apparently the very existance of thermite, whether as fuses or on beams to burn through, is proof of the evil NWOs involvement...and that is enough.

problem though,

1. Still no proof of thermite.
2. If you were using it just for fuses, why thermite, let alone nano-thermite?

Oh the list goes on and on...

It may turn out that the chips were nanoaluminothermics, but used as part of sensors. See p. 19. http://www.rmnt.org/com/J3N2008/presentations/28 rossi.pdf. Also, p.2 mentions airbag systems. Just guessing, but maybe the airliners had small scale explosive devices that were used to blow open an escape portal.

Of course, if the estimate of 10 tons or more of nanoaluminothermics is accurate, that would argue against such interpretations.

Just thought I'd isolate the key observation for you...

I also submit that, if you build a 300,000 ton structure and load it with 25,000 offices worth of materials, you're going to find a few things that contain aluminum and iron oxide. Like, as has been mentioned before, paint.

This is a completely bass-ackwards way to investigate. Sunstealer and Dr. Greening both appear to be on the right track. Follow-ups in the appropriate thread.
 
First there was the smoking gun of "Thermite", That didnt work out, So they moved on to the smoking gun of "iron spheres", That didnt work out, So they added a little Sulfer and loaded their smoking gun with "Thermate". That didnt work out. So they added a dash of red paint and grey primer to fake Nanothermite. Turns out maybe at best the paint chips could have been a fuse. So now you're smoking "nanoaluminothermics"? Let me ask you Metamars, in all your desperate flailing around trying to invent a plausable cd conspiracy theory. Have you ever just considered that no, there were no cd devices of any kind at the WTC?? Or are your cd conspiracy beliefs unfalsifiable?

I don't know. But I've seen an awful lot of them that had paint.

Even if there was a ton of Thermate with a big sign "Help yourself" there are still several quantum leaps over barriers of improbability before anyone can show demolition.

The debate is analogous to arguing over whether or not there were cartridge cases found near the dead body of a person whose death has been attributed to heart attack and the PM found no bullet wounds.

If "they" want to prove homicide 1 there is a long way to go even if they find a cartridge case.
 
I got an email this morning from Professor Jones, wherein he mentioned:

"I tried to sign up a while back, but my registration application was rejected."

Sign up for JREF, that is. I have suggested to Professor Jones that if he signs up in the future, he completely avoid the 911 forum, and instead post to the Science forum. They have a poll there which indicates that 48% of the posters are qualified scientists.

I decided not to visit this part of the forum for a while (for Lent). I needed the break.
