This is fascinating to me when I see proponents such as Roger Knights suggest the idea that BH was filmed but not what we see in the PGF. Almost like one of those moments where a confession by Gimlin being dismissed by Patty fans doesn't seem out of the question.

I'd like to know, Longtabber what part(s) of BH's claims doesn't wash with you or suggests he is lying.

The key to the PGF is in a detailed interview with BH.

I agree. What can we at the JREF do to make this happen? I have already seriously suggested myself attending the Yakima Gimlin party. I will be in Canada this summer. My hometown of Victoria is not far from Yakima at all. I could hop on the ferry from Vic to Seattle, rent a car, drive to Zillah, and make this happen.

"THIS JUST IN"....:p....Notice how much larger the size of Dfoot's cap is than the size of the upper half of Patty's head is!!

It could almost make one think that Dfoot's head may be too large to fit inside of Patty's head!

I think that's about as good an analogy as you could make. I generally avoid showing up at Bigfoot forums and blowing out their candles but I'm attracted to the idea of being at the right place and time to ask Bobby G some simple questions. I would be perfectly respectful so the only trouble that might occur would be as the result of cultish people not open to dialogue. If these people are getting together to support something they feel is scientifically sound, then surely such questions would be welcomed. They could crush some major doubts. I hope they could.

Kit- you are just trying to live a footer dream, because that is what you are, still a footer. It is no different than a former Comic Dick going to a comic convention with hopes of seeing Stan Lee or Steve Ditko. You would be in awe of his DTE skills and abilities.

I'll photoshop some pics of the M.O.H.A.I.R. and bust obscure references like Dennis Miller. I would do this while being led to the scoftic sacrificial altar.

Why don't you deal with the crap you've already slung instead of slinging more? Surely such an action is the bald attempt of a fanatical believer looking to confirm their preconceived notions. I don't know what effect his confession made on the general public. He was interviewed by a few local reporters and it made for an interesting but brief bit of trivia.

Bigfooters in general would believe the PGF at a greater proportion than the public. Of course the Pattycakes are the one who strongly support the PGF. There was a lot of posting on BFF after BH's confession. Tons of threads on BH and the PGF. Very few BFF members accepted his confession. Roger Knights was probably single-handedly responsible for 30% of all words written about BH and the PGF by anyone anywhere. He's no longer posting on BFF.

For the general public, I don't think events like the BH confession or the Gorgia Hoax really pull belief in Bigfoot down. These are people with no belief anyway, and they know that a BF body has never been submitted to science. BH's confession makes them believe in Bigfoot even less? I don't think so.

But you would think that at some point in the past, BH would come to know or be told that there was another guy filmed after him. Gimlin had umpteen chances to explain it to Heironimus. He still could. "Look Bob, it is true that we filmed you in a suit at Bluff Creek. But a couple weeks later we were back there without you and caught a real Bigfoot. I'm not calling you a liar. You are just incorrect in assuming that we used your footage in the film."
