It wasn't an article; it was a FOIA request. But anyway... you did remember the gist of the information--that the "over 80 videos of the Pentagon" claim was, at the very least, unconfirmed--did you not? If so, why would you state the claim as fact without any disclaimer?

Of course I don't take what they say as gospel. It will need more research than that.

So, until such time as your research is complete, you're going to continue claiming that the FBI holds over 80 videos of the Pentagon? Have you researched the original claim so thoroughly (or, in your case, slowly)? It doesn't seem so...

Scott A. Hodes made an FOIA request on behalf of Scott Bingham (I wonder if he is related to Mark Bingham, as the truthers feel all Chertoff's are related).

Agent Jacqueline Maguire with the FBI, the agent responsible, responded.

Here is a summary of her findings, based on reading the response to Mr. Hodes FOIA request,

1. She found 85 tapes that might be "potentially responsive" to the plaintiff's FOIA request.
2. Of those, based on chain of custody and documentation with the videos, determined that 56 DID NOT show either of (A) the Pentagon, (B) the Pentagon crash site, or (C) the impact of flight 77.
3. Of the remaining 29 tapes, after she PERSONALLY VIEWED THEM, determined that 16 did not show (A) the Pentagon crash site, or (B) the impact of flight 77.
4. Out of the remaining 13 tapes, 12 of them only showed the Pentagon AFTER the impact of flight 77.

This left 1 (ONE) tape, the one released to the public, that showed any image of the actual impact of flight 77 with the Pentagon.

This info, and digital copies of Maguire's response, use to be on the site flight77.info, but now I am unsure of their location. I have downloads of all of the pages of her response.

I'm just surprised that at least two of those cameras were not trained on the heliport which was just to the left of the impact point TAM . I would have expected that and I think they would have picked up something better than the Citgo videos. What else is more interesting than the heliport around the perimeter of the Pentagon ? Ah well just another unprovable point for now.
 
Was there an entrance into the Pentagon next to the heliport somewhere ? I can't imagine that they would put the heliport on a fully closed side of the building ?

Hey bill, what do you think about the fact that more than a hundred people are on record saying they say a plane fly into the Pentagon (and none that say this didn't happen)? Hell, two of the dumbest twoofers in the world (CIT) inadvertently proved that a plane hit the Pentagon with their horrible video.

Good catch Heiwa. Strange cameras those I must say. Did the impect switch them on or something ? Were they sleeping on the iob while the plane flew into the building and then started filming only after the crash to cover their azzes ? lol

Jaqueline, the FBI agent said the following;-

Would you like to speculate why the cameras. started filming only AFTER the impact of flight 77 into the Pentagon ?

Because they were cameras installed on neighboring properties that were turned and pointed at the Pentagon after the crash.

I believe she found 13 videos captured the "area" in question, but only ONE captured any frames that might be the impact itself.

So those cameras were switched off during the attack and switched on right after ? I wonder why those neighbours had the cameras at all ? It is possible though highly unlikely in my view. But generally in things 9/11 I have found that if there is a bare possibility that will suffice for the official story.

ummm...who said all 85 were pentagon security videos?

How do you know the 12 videos were not taken by bistandards, who turned their cameras to the pentagon after the impact????????????
