Just thought I'd relay an article about the Mythbusters called:
Mythbusters 'Big Bang' Shatters Windows
KCRA.com

Apparently they ignited 500 pounds of ammonium nitrate to "knock the socks off" a mannequin.

I'm not sure I believe that Yolo County, California resident, Sherril Stephens, was knocked of her couch, from the force of the explosion, though. Maybe she fell off the couch because she was startled...

I'd like to see the episode when it airs.

Yeah, I can't wait to see this one. A potential "best explosion ever", perhaps?

Sure, it's fun to blow stuff up (and see it done) but I'm not crazy about the thought that they have to have a boom every episode.

I wouldn't be surprised even a small explosion creates a pretty big force and considering the fact that these explosions actually shattered windows.

Man, I would totally be stoked if my front window was broken and replaced the same day by the Mythbusters. I'll bet they'd even sign it if I asked nicely. That would be so cool!

Edited to add: I realize that Adam & Jamie probably did not do the window-replacing. Still, I'll bet they'd do it. Man, that would be neat!

If they broke MY window (and living in Sacramento it is not beyond the realm of possibility) I would demand that Kari do the replacing.

I wonder if Kari was even around seeing as how she is pregnant?

Why was this up in Yolo? They used to do the big booms, like the cement truck and the parachute explosion thing, at the nearby Carson Hill mine.

I'd prefer Grant (Tory strikes me as kinda dumb).
I think that they all play the roles expected of them, and Tory is the "curious jock" sort of character. Given the advanced skill-sets required to work for Jamie, I doubt that anyone even "kinda dumb" would even be allowed to intern.

OK, Tory might actually have a functioning brain, but the jock type never did appeal to me. I'll take the super-brainy types, thanks. (And yes, Bob is quite intelligent. He's just a genetic smart-ass. A lot of men in his family are like that.)

I guess that they do so many explosions, they are bound to make such a mistake sooner or later. I would have thought it would have blown a bit more than just the socks off the mannequin.
