Please explain the difference.

Irritated - The children kept asking for a snack, over and over again, to the point of irritating me.

Disgust - My son ate all of his dinner alright, then proceeded to throw it up all over the walls...it was disgusting.

anger - My daughter was arrested for drinking and driving the other night, and it made me so angry.

Buy a bloody dictionary. You'll find it more enlightening than the garbage propaganda books you read.

Bananaman.

Thanks for the suggestion, angry/irritable/disgusted (delete as appropriate) Bananaman ;)

- irritate vt to make angry or fretful

- disgust n loathing, distaste, extreme disapproval or annoyance.

- anger n hot displeasure provoked by some action, incident situation, etc, often involving hostility or a desire for retaliation; wrath .. vt to make angry; to irritate.

- angry young man a young man loud in disgust at what his elders have made of society (popularised by Look Back In Anger, play(1956) by John Osbourne, one of a group of writers of the period to whom the term was subsequently applied).

I guess, JJ, it is a matter of opinion. To me, I do not consider being irritated the same as being angry. If that were the case, I think 99.99% of parents would spend a good 3rd of their life angry at their kids, and I do not think this is the case. I guess your definition, and perhaps the dictionary definition, are broader, more encompassing.

Likewise, you can be disgusted with something, and have no anger concerning it. Vomit on the wall disgusts me, but I am just as likely to laugh at it. I do not get angered by it.

The person who defended this ridiculous statment:
Many family members of 911 victims are skeptical of the government's account.

with this bit of sophistry:
I haven't defined "many". Its meaning has been assumed by other posters for partisan purposes. As I have explained repeatedly, "48 out of perhaps 10,000" doesn't strike me as "many" either. I wasn't making a numerical point.

is suddenly a semantic pedant.

Hilarious.

More on Jeff Hill's "Continuos (sic) Pieces" youtube effort.

I tackled him about his epic spelling gaff at the David Icke site (his handle is "Shure" there) He replied:-

Jeff Hill said:
I spelled it different so anyone that wanted to bring it up as a spelling mistake would get the following response;

"You are intelligent enough to notice the spelling of "continuos" so you should be intelligent enough to know that planes can't just meld into steel and concrete buildings and disappear"!!!

See Post #23 HERE

Ah tell thee, that place is WooWoo Wonderland. Well worth a peep just to take in the "microwaved fly" thread.

I'm reading some more amusing comments from HI, and it and makes me wonder, why do some many truthers boast that they have superior knowledge on almost any subject, yet lack the the training, expertise and education on the subject? Why do truthers have to constantly declare they are smarter than you? Shouldn't their posts reveal their superior knowledge alone, rather than just declaring it? I'm no shrink, but I think part of the answer lies in a deep insecurity on their part.

HI's MO is not to actually debate or discuss, but rather to claim he can beat everyone here on any 9/11 topic, without proving it.

When was the last time you saw a post with substance in it from him?

The world knows it was a controlled demolition

The pictures and videos tell the story.

The way the censorship works here is pretty obvious.

Links and images are simply not allowed.

Its called "gagging".
