Gympie and ancient history

Another intriguing bit is a cemetery of about 200+ only traces left all facing north on a ley in private property. All our Sun God worship lot face the east. What culture bury there dead facing north? Acid soil doesn't leave much, anyway they should be left alone. Grave digging is disgraceful after any period of time even if some have treasure I won't touch it nor disclose it's site. Neat rows about 8ft apart.

Where is this cemetery, and how does it tie in with this thread?

Also, aren't you basically suggesting that we shouldn't improve our knowledge of history so people can spout a bunch of crap about something and we can never actually find a more logical answer?

How about you help us out here with a few links.
Anyway, how do you know this sea wall was not built by Aborigines?
What evidence is there that the wall contains slag material from an ancient smelter?
Why do you think anthropologists are not all over this place examining and reporting on things?

Because, even if this were true, that's an Archaeologists job.

Now, why aren't they there?
Well, that would be because this is BS

This strange culture doesn't seem to care which way the ded'ns point:

Where could it be?

Pardon me if I feel that their motives and their methods are... shall we say... less than rigorously scientific. Here's a representative sample.

This points not to just delusional but an outright lie.

Claimed first hand to be pulled from (a disappeared) ABC News Online 09/12/2002. Yet somehow ABC News reported that this plantain is supposed to not only kill "tumour cells" but also kill the "tumour cells". Shows the intelligence of the author when they don't know the difference between a tumor cell and a tumor. Standard woo logic.

I thought there always was a nutbar magnet?

It's how I got here! :D

Hey, Old Bob, if you like those stories, I've got an ancient Jewish splinter group and some Golden Plates I'd love to sell you. I might even throw in some Reformed Egyptian papyrus as wrapping paper!

What has wolves have to do with the Indian Jackal(Dingo)? They interbreed with domestic dogs. The pure breed Dingo breeds once a year but interbred mix will have two litters a year. I have hunted them, and Australian schools teach that they come from India. As for why isn't anthropologist's study on the sea wall? Don't rock the boat don't change history, don't alter the agenda on native title. Just keep the masses believing the twisted history. And as for metric measurement we still by tapes with both systems and most older people still use feet and inches. The Gympie stuff is real, I live near Gympie and a relation was mayor of Gympie for many years (Ron Witham) wish he was still here to confirm some of the mystery. Facing east is the rule for our dead but some trusts just don't know, the catholic section would get it right. PS the skin cancer weed is "Petty Spurge"have just treated one on my old mother with the local doctor blessing, he confirmed it as cancer and now it's gone. Less traumatic than cutting it out. What has this got to do with the price of eggs? I can only assume by this statement that you've never set foot inside a university, or had anything to do with archaeology in Australia.

Mate, if there was any evidence of the sort, university post-grads would be all over it. I know personally of at least three in Queensland who would give their left arm for such evidence and have the opportunity to explore new directions in Australian history.

It's conspiracy clap-trap that has no reflection on reality whatsoever. Seriously, cover-up in this country? You're having a laugh.

So? I grew up in Ipswich and was friends with the daughter of the lord mayor. Doesn't mean I know whether Pauline Hanson's got an innie or an outie.

Growing up in a place doesn't mean you've necessarily got some specialist knowledge if you're starting from a position of ignorance to begin with.

 Yes, yes, we know you like to do this just to be the centre of attention. Gods forbid you post here because you might actually learn something.

Athon

Gee it must be great to be smart like Athon and such a sweet guy. Just to know that all our history is correct. But you are wrong about me wanting attention, I don't give a s---

which is why you keep posting, of course.

How has The National Academy of Sciences of the USA become so misguided as to think otherwise?

Just to save you a clicky, here's a quotation of the relevant bit:

From these results a detailed scenario of the origin and history of the dingo can be derived: dingoes have an origin from domesticated dogs coming from East Asia, possibly in connection with the Austronesian expansion into Island Southeast Asia. They were introduced from a small population of dogs, possibly at a single occasion, and have since lived isolated from other dog populations.

See what I did there Bob? I embedded a link to a reliable source and added an extract containing the relevant information. That's called a reference.

Note the differences between this and a pub yarn.
