None the less it just further discredits Marc39 for using it to shout "Anti-Semitism!" at people criticizing Israel.
As I said above.... MLK said that some black student. So ****ing what? Means nothing.
Marc- do you think that the Israeli-Arabs should be forced to move to Jordan?
I wonder what King would say today, given an additional 40 years of Israeli occupation and their apartheid policies in the west bank?
Clearly, as someone who devoted his life to the cause of human rights, King would condemn both Israel's inhumane and racist actions....AND the barbaric and atrocious activities of the Palestinian terror groups.

I wonder what King would say to those who embody his definition of anti-Semitism using his name in vain.
I wonder what King would think about the descendants of Holocaust survivors.......advocating for racism and Apartheid.
I wonder what King would say today, given an additional 40 years of Israeli occupation and their apartheid policies in the west bank?
I wonder what King would say about those who embody his definition of anti-Semitism further disgracing his name by trivializing apartheid for their own anti-Zionist propaganda-driven agendas.
What about the fact that Israel has the freeist, wealthiest and best fed 2nd class citizens in the world? I'm sure king would have been ok with just a relatively small amount of lack-o-rights. Are you not aware of how bad things were during the bubonic plague? What about that eh? Don't hear king mentioning the plague do we....he's just fixated about black rights....must have hated whites and secretly supported the plague..Don't know.
But it probably wouldn't be "Israeli apartheid is OK by me because it is not as bad as South African apartheid was".
What about the fact that Israel has the freeist, wealthiest and best fed 2nd class citizens in the world?
No state is required to permit trade across its own borders absent specific treaty obligations to the contrary. Israel has no obligation to permit goods to cross its borders into Gaza. By the same token, Egypt had the right to restrict trade crossing Egypt's border into Israel. The Straits of Tiran, however, are international waters. Using force in international waters in order to block shipping reaching another sovereign state, as Egypt did in the Straits of Tiran, was a violation of Israel's sovereignty and a belligerent act. Mislabeling as a blockade Israel's restrictions on trade across its own border with Gaza and the creation a false equivalence with Egypt's siege of Israel in 1967 does not change the legal rules or the relevant facts.
I wonder what King would say about those who embody his definition of anti-Semitism further disgracing his name by trivializing apartheid for their own anti-Zionist propaganda-driven agendas.
Does it bother you at all, that you are the descendant of people who have suffered so very greatly at the hands of racists and bigots...
...and now that you and your people have great power and authority, act like bigots and racists?
Do you not see the irony of this at all?
No, never even crossed my mind.Does this not at all remind you of the stories in the Old Testament, where time and time again, God gives the Israelites great wealth and strength, but yet the Israelites time and time again disobey God, and are time and time again punished by God?
Nothing surprises me.I am not a religious man, but I do see great parables between the constant disobedience/punishment of the Israelites in the Bible, and the behavior of many Jews in Israel and the USA.
Perhaps you could first work on your own propensity for bias and stereotypes before you try to save the Jewish people from themselves.I fear we may suffer God's wrath for our disobedience, once again. I am doing my best to stop it, but I fear Zionism has made my people drunk with arrogance, hatred, and extremism.
Irrespective of who "my people" and I are, racism is antithetical to my beliefs. You making a blanket statement of a "people" having great power and authority is a questionable stereotype, in itself, that has been integral to antiSemitism, which I would have thought you'd be opposed to. Further, making another blanket statement that my people and I act like bigots and racists is ignorant and biased,
-I assume from your posts that you are a Jew. Am I wrong?
The "people" I was referring to is the collective Israeli-Jewish people. They have their own country, they run their own country, this gives them power and authority in Israel. I was not accusing world-wide Jewry of having "great power and authority". You can turn down your irrational paranoia just a bit.
Jews continue to be despised for having their own homeland. Add to this the fact that Jews know how to win wars and people contract the disease called IDS: Israel Derangement Syndrome.
Ah, so all the teenagers and college kids out there in the USA, Canada, and Europe, who protest against Israeli military actions, the Seperation Wall, house demolitions, illegal settlements, and land confiscations....aren't doing it because they respect human rights and are against tyranny...
I don't expect teenagers and college kids to be informed about the intricacies of Middle Eastern affairs and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. They "are doing it" as a tangible result of a highly effective pro-Palestinian public relations effort focused on disinformation about Israel and the vilification of the Israeli people. Israelis have been successfully portrayed as the oppressors and the Palestinians as the oppressed, and to those ignorant of history and more recent events, the powerful emotions engendered can easily draw them in to support those perceived as suffering injustice.
