The psychological make up of the "truth movement" is likely similar to the make up of the general population, with the following exceptions (IMO):

1. Paranoia exists within the group, I suspect, at higher levels than within the gen. pop.
2. Anger, especially with authority, I suspect, exists at higher levels than in the gen. pop.
3. Personality Disorders, I suspect, exist at higher levels than the gen. pop.

Of course, this is all speculative, and based mostly on my encounters with truthers (as I define them - active promoters of 9/11 CTs) on the internet.

You made the claim JJ, back it up. I took the antithesis, that the video did not show volunteers cleaning up the steel but rather professionals focusing on investigation. I proved my claim. Don't try to weasel your way out of this by asking more stupid questions.

The video, I am guessing, is more likley to be evidence of a totally under-resourced, too-little-too -late effort by valiant volunteers working on the fringes of a huge clean-up and disposal operation that was focussed on disposal and recycling not investigation

Where are the volunteers? Why does the video show Dr. Corley investigating the steel? Why does the narrator say investigators combed over the wreckage for months looking for clues as to why the towers fell?

I have seen in some websites that Loose Change was intended to be a fictional movie. But I don't see any backup for this claim. Is there a place where it is proved that it was one, indeed?

It started as a fictional screenplay, but then Avery came to believe that these things might be true and started investigoogling, which led him to write Loose Change, which is supposed to be a documentary.

That was my first lesson in how not to do activism, at the time I thought I was doing something right and its a long story, I whish I could tell you about my personal stuff without you guys thinking the wrong way !

I've been digging through some truther blogs...holding my nose the entire time. I keep coming across this term - "WQ2RX." It's hard to make heads or tails of it, but it seems to be some sort of organization within the TM that a lot of people accuse each other of being in. It looks like an instance of the 9/11 TM eating itself. I don't really know how old this stuff is or how relevant it is to anything at all. Just wondering if anyone else who's monitored the TM more closely than I has seen this term. It seems to revolve around Nico Haupt a lot.

A little crack investigoogling seems to indicate WQ2RX originated from Webfairy and the no-planers (like Nico) to claim various responsible truthers (I notice John Albanese coming up in almost all discussions of it) are disinfo. Basically: yes, it appears to be the various splinter groups in the TM sniping at one another and eating themselves.

I interpret this as indicating that you are driven by anger to insult . Your numerous, tedious and habitually irritable, “clever”, one liner anti-twoofer insults also suggest unusually high levels of permanently boiling rage.

Do you remember (or care) what my original claim was?

There is, apparently, so much twoofer swill around that people can spend their whole happy lives swimming in it, as illustrated by the many eager swimmers on this thread such as your good self. Why do you then need to make stuff up? Taking sentences out of context and then inventing and imposing your own meaning on them is a degenerate and abusive game.

He may have broadened his horizons and ventured into video HERE Pomeroo gets a bit of a bashing in the beginning, the rest is just a montage of his moronic phone-call blaggings, I think, I could only stomach 10 minutes or so.

Why do people get so angry that Truthers accuse the American government of mass murder, when all it means is that they're accusing them of causing 3000 more deaths than the thousands of American deaths their actions led to in Iraq? It's not as if they're totally averse to killing, or even to having their own people killed, is it. So why should the slander cause any outrage?

You miss the major difference in the fact the deaths in Iraq were military men and women who volunteered to serve. The deaths in the WTC were innocents.

This has nothing to do with the validity of the war. Just a cold, hard fact.

This has nothing to do with the validity of the war. Just a cold, hard fact.

But just because the people sent into Iraq volunteered to go into the army, that doesn't mean it was ethical to be reckless with their lives and send them into any war of the government's choosing. Even though they were military people, it still shows a disregard for the value of human life, especially when the government must have known a lot of Iraqi civilians would get killed.
