Human rights investigators say Israeli forces engaged in "wanton destruction" of Palestinian homes during the recent conflict in Gaza.

Amnesty International has told the BBC News website the methods used raised concerns about war crimes.


also from the article: Breaking the Silence, an Israeli group that gathers and circulates the testimonies of Israeli soldiers, has also told the BBC News website that its findings from the Gaza war suggested many demolitions had been carried out when there was no immediate threat.

"From the testimonies that we've gathered, lots of demolitions - buildings demolished either by bulldozers or explosives - were done after the area was under Israeli control," said Yehuda Shaul, one of the group's members.

If we take Gazan sources at their word, without verification, that means 600 civilians were killed.

So...roughly 1 civilian death for every 24 houses destroyed.

Your claim is that the Israelis don't give a flying **** about Palestinian civilians, even targeting them.

Do the Israeli soldiers just suck at their job?

grow fruit, load it in a truck....then watch it rot at a checkpoint when the Israelis won't let it through? Something like that?

And who built greenhouses for terrorists? Can you site your source for that one? Or do you just use the words terrorist and palestinian interchangeably?

As long as Israel continues it's racist atrocities I shall speak up about them. you post has no substance whatsoever. What is your point? Are you denying Israel's atrocities against the Palestinians or are you simply making a personal attack against anyone daring to spea up aout the racist atrocities of Israel.

Are you in touch with reality? Do you care about Humanity? Or do you unconditionally support Israel regardless of how they act?

Nah. More like "ravage the greenhouses and destroy them in an act of insensate rage and pointless vandalism".

Or "pass weapons and terrorists repeatedly through checkpoints inside food trucks, ambulances, and so on, and then complain the Israelis stop your trucks."

How did you miss what Hamas did to the fully functioning greenhouses (and housing) left behind by the previous Israeli pullout? :rolleyes:
 
I didn't miss anything....do you only see the bits you want to see? I'm guessing that you may believe the fruit the Palestinians were growing that was being halted and left to rot by Israel were grown in make believe greenhouses.....in your world they were all torched.

you forgot babout your statement that greenhouses were built for terrorists. Can you site your source for that one....who build greenhouses for terrorists?

Perhaps a "gaza thread", a "west bank" thread, an "israel politics" thread. Throw in an "Israeli atrocities" thread and a "hamas atrocities" thread and we should obviate the need to start a new thread to rehash the same issues each day.
