Freemasons.

You know I had no idea that Demolay was connected to the masons. I had a buddy who was a member back in high school, and only now do I found out he was being initiated to rule the world! Damn I should have been nicer to that guy!

So, Chick is trashing a guy for being accused of homosexuality and witchcraft...by the Catholic Church.

Anyone else see the irony here?

I think I smelled something else after clicking on that link.

Man, do I ever hate it when some 700 Club donor leaves one of Chick's repugnant little comic books under my windshield wiper.

I was in DeMolay, which was for kids 14-21. DeMolay was sponsored by the masons and many went on to become masons. We had the same kind of secrets modeled after the masons. The rituals are secret, which are as dangerous as the boy scout's. We did the same things as the masons. We played all kinds of sports, had dances, did all kinds of public service things and we even had a toastmasters club. I was the Master Counselor or the leader of the group. If masons are evil, then you should be afraid of me.

I know you said this to make the masons sound less sinister, but it comes across as making the boy scouts sound more sinister.

:)

I was trying to point out the opposite of sinister. Fellowship and good deeds were as bad as we got. I was a boy scout and many of the members were also boy scouts. The master counselor before me was eagle scout.

So the boy Scouts are being brainwashed and indoctrinated to become part of the Illuminatti/NWO/Freemason/Communist/Atheist/Papal conspiracy. :D

It's a non-denominational fraternity that accepts men of whatever religious stripe and uses the central aspects that the world's religions share to help men be of better utility to themselves, their families and society in general. To sum up, "Making good men better".

If this be the way of the NWO, then lead on.

In Britain, joining the masons is an essential step in reaching the higher rungs of the police force, etc.Lots of lawyers and judges are masons,it's a buddy-buddy,you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours type of organization.

Yes, I know, but you can never over-estimate the ability of these CT guys to misinterpret anything. They'll always go for the worst reading possible.

For example:

"Fellowship and good deeds were as bad as we got."

That was as bad as you got? So, you admit that others were worse?

It's been admitted, folks! [/AlexJones]

Why do people continue to believe things like this even though all the evidence is 100% to the contrary? Any freemason that thinks being a mason will get him any advantage - particularly from other masons - is going to be sorely disappointed. If I had ever done something wrong and another mason was in the position to decide my fate, I would never admit my membership because all it would cause would be an even severe sentence since, as a mason, I should "know better."

Your link actually debunks you - a whopping 5% of the judiciary is a mason. You'll find far more members of the Church of England than you would masons. Of course this kind of survey is also a civil rights infringement, but hey when its masons who cares right?

Well, people are kind of scared of masons in the UK. I've read (could be wrong) that they had passed a law, or had attempted to pass a law, requiring government officials who are masons to declare (I almost wrote "confess") their membership for the public record.

Contrast with America, where masons drive around with Masonic bumper stickers and lapel pins and rent out their lodges' common rooms for private parties and such. Big difference.

It surprises me the extent of the misconceptions of the masonic groups. I guess I was in my own little world. In my town in Montana being a member of any of the masonic groups (DeMolay, Jobs Daughters, Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star, etc) wasn't kept a secrete. There were a lot of people who were members, so maybe people just knew a little more about the groups. It sounds like some people would think that when I joined at 14 I was being brain washed so that I could join the conspiracy. The same would go for the girls that were in the Rainbow Girls or Jobs Daughters. It's kind of funny except that it sounds like some people really believe it.

I was turned down by the Masons because I'm an atheist. So, to quote Monty Python:

Yes, well, that's the sort of blinkered philistine pig ignorance I've come to expect from you non-creative garbage. You sit there on your loathsome, spotty behinds, squeezing blackheads and not giving a tinker's cuss for us struggling artists. You excrement! You whining, hypocritical toadies with your color TV sets and your Tony Jacklin golf clubs. Well I wouldn't become a Freemason now if you got down on your lousy, stinking, purulent knees and begged me!

setting traps, hand signals, symbolically decorated uniforms...they must be evil

We had a rifle club the met every Tuesday at the indoor target range. I didn't realize that I was getting paramilitary training. I just thought buying a box of 22's each week was cheap fun and and improved my marksmanship. I'm not sure how our bowling club worked into the conspiracy, but with a little thought I might be able to figure it out.
