Unless he's arguing that we used smallpox to bring down the towers, I don't see anything in there which would give him special insight into the events of 9/11.

Unlike some groups, Physicians are expected to uphold a certain level of professionalism, and a very set code of ethics and conduct.

I wonder how the AMA would look upon a group of MDs supporting the idea that the USG and hence hundreds of fellow Americans, were responsible for 9/11, and using their degrees, and the alleged scholar that is assumed with them, to promote this idea? I wonder how ethical that is?

It is one thing, as a human, to also be a physician, and to have these views, and even promote them.

It is a completely different thing to organize yourselves, and use your profession as some sort of academic "authority" (and why else would they call their group "medical professionals for 9/11 truth" if not to lend some air of authority to themselves?) to promote an agenda.

We are suppose to be, when speaking as physicians, Apolitical.

Red,
Are you really so gullible. Did you notice the "join date"? The same on every single one of them. They all just discovered this organization on the very same day - the day it was founded?
This is Patriots for 911 all over again. They collect all their loonies and when they see a large number in an area that will impress the easily impressed, they spin off an open another website.
Ever notice the similarities in so much of the "testimonies"?

If you want to predict the next such group, just go onto their various sites, list all the names and occupations on a spreadsheet and sort them by occupation, the next group that hits 50 or more members will be the next announcement.

These ain't converts to your cause, son. These are old guard loonies who just have their names now reorganized on a shiny new list. (They clearly quote almost every one of them in support of AE911T, Patriots for, Pilots for, etc.... They just recompiled the list to impress you and waste another slow news day on the Conspiradroid beat.

5. You will not post anything that demonstrates a clear and present danger to the welfare of another person, or otherwise tends to create alarm or apprehension that the welfare of any person is in imminent jeopardy.

Dave
I throw myself at the feet of the mods, begging for their mercy.

And before you get to it Red:

I consider the creation of a politically active site or group, where the use of your position/profession is prominent, and used to help push your political argument, to be a violation of the ethical code, and where it causes harm (false accusations without proof against individuals in the USG or murder or accomplice to), it goes against the universal medical code of

"first do no harm".

TAM:)

Oh and in case you try to pull the "they just want a new investigation" line, take a look at this quote from their site,

We stand together with millions of other Americans and citizens of other nations in demanding a full, unbiased investigation and prosecution of these crimes against humanity. If we give a pass to the perpetrators who are likely still at large, we do so at our peril.

http://mp911truth.org/#About

Now OBL is still at large, but his guilt is not in doubt, according to the official story, so what perpetrators are they talking about being likely still at large???

Debunking boots? What for, Red.

Another dirt dumb thread from the Twoof.

appeal to false authority fallacy.

Well done Red. Freaking worthless.

Did you get that Red? MOSQUITOES!!

Last time I heard it wasn't mosquitoes that were flown into the WTCs, it was Hugh passenger planes. But hey they both have wings don't they? So I guess it won't be long before we see this "experts" theories and as per norm, no doubt you will be lapping it up and spewing onto this forum.

Jesus.H.Christ, Red, you put forward an expert on mosquitoes and you think it means anything. Honest to God, stop being so bloody gullible.

That's not a very thorough argument. You only presented the evidence that suggests he might be smart. You cut out the evidence that suggests he might be a dope:

Statement in support of Medical Professionals petition for Reinvestigation of 9/11:

"I strongly endorse, and am more than pleased to sign the petition representing the Medical Professionals for 9/11 Truth. This document, along with many others, is a clear and concise statement of valid concerns that have yet to be addressed in an open, truthful way by the mainstream media or the U.S. Government."

Charter Member: Medical Professionals for 9/11 Truth Association Statement:

"As medical professionals, we are trained in science and logical reasoning. We are appalled by the lack of scientific rigor and the substantial omissions and blatant distortions in the official account of 9/11 as embodied in the 9/11 Commission Report and related government documents. We join with other organizations of professionals, such as Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Pilots for 9/11 Truth, Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, and Lawyers for 9/11 Truth, and millions of individual citizens in demanding a thorough, impartial, open and transparent reinvestigation of the terrorist acts of 9/11."

Statement in support of Architects and Engineers petition:

"I have been a college professor and active scientist for nearly 45 years.

From the day I watched the TV news coverage of the Twin Towers free-fall to the ground and then awhile later heard that Building 7, though not hit by a plane, also free-fell to the ground, I thought, along with some of the early news commentators, that the collapses looked like controlled demolitions.

Then there was the clear reticence on the part of the Bush Administration to open an investigation. Finally and begrudgingly the 9/11 Commission was named and produced what turned out to be a woefully incomplete and inadequate assessment. In the face of the magnitude and gravity of 9/11, the cost in dollars and, most importantly, the horrendous loss of human lives, such an inadequate treatment is not acceptable under any standards.

Not long after 9/11, websites began to appear which posed fair and reasonable questions challenging the “official” version of how the buildings fell, and related issues. The writings of prominent scholars, such as David Ray Griffin and others, considered the diverse and mounting pieces of evidence in systematic and thoughtful ways. While one may disagree with the interpretation of this or that piece of evidence, the emerging mosaic of physical, economic, political and social evidence is compelling and demands a reinvestigation.

Frankly, at this point I don’t see how our country can go forward as a democracy until this matter is fully and completely settled by an independent, comprehensive, competent investigation by a body with full subpoena power." http://www.ae911truth.org

Link.

Wow. Another group not educated in the relevant sciences and having failed to do a proper scientific investigation of the collapse of the WTC buildings express their concerns born of ignorance.

RedIbis, does a new thread need to be started everytime a group's ignorance inspires them to unite under the holy umbrella of truth?

If these geniuses were actually "scientifc" and "logical," as they say, they would avoid the moniker "truth" because it has become, on the internet, and ironically, a symbol of ignorance and derision.

It's ok, in your ignorance, to have questions and to seek to have those questions answered. I have no problem there. But don't associate yourself, however loosely, with a group (truthers) who "know" WTC 1, 2 and 7 were brought down by controlled demolition despite having never left their keyboards and who have, at most, a very crude understanding of even the most fundamental scientific principles.

1. He is not a medical doctor (according to the list you just provided).
2. He would likely fall into the misled category, although the "paranoid" category often makes the other two irrelevant.

TAM:)

1. True, but he is a well published and credentialed medical professional. There are several MDs that you could check on that site.
2. Wrong. And if you had read through his description you would find the following:

Hey if these guy's wanted to argue for the health of the GZ workers I would be all for it.

Why again do they support AE9/11troof, PFT, Jones' and the like?

Dave Rogers said:
Are you really going to stand by that statement?

Please feel free to offer contradictory evidence.

Any time is good for me, Red. Show me something from this latest fallacious appeal to authority that I haven't seen published elsewhere in the truth movement, and I'll withdraw the statement you questioned.

Say what you will, but I'm impressed that these people have published their personal information, knowing that there are unscrupulous people who would attempt to interfere with their personal and professional lives.

I take this opportunity to point out the absence of any group with a name like "Eyewitnesses For Truth".

And yet you rely on a tour guide to tell you what happened.

Stay on your own topic Red. Although bitter and completely false insult, duly noted.

We are discussing:

1. your utter failure to provide a single fact that needs debunking.

2. the concept of false authority fallacy.

Red, stop being every god damn silly XXXX For 911 truth's Paperboy, will ya?
