The Israeli army's chief rabbinate gave soldiers preparing to enter the Gaza Strip a booklet implying that all Palestinians are their mortal enemies and advising them that cruelty is sometimes a "good attribute".

Obviously not the views of all Israelis, but it seems the Israeli Army has been allowing these hate booklets to be distributed to Israeli soldiers. No wonder some of them have been cold bloodedly butchering Palestinians.

Please no one try and patronize us by claiming the Israeli army didn't know about this.

I am naturally disgusted as any decent person would be, but not surprised in the slightest.

Of course I'm not. I fully realise that many Arabs hate Israelis with a passion. I condemn them for it.

which is more than can be said for many Zionist Apologists on this forum who would never condemn Israel however vile the atrocities it commits.

I have met several Israeli Arabs who do not feel persecuted in the slightest.

Do they face racism and discrimination? Sure they do. So do I.

The Arabs still living in Israel may not face the same persecutions as the other Palestinians, but they still are subject to state racism.

And how, exactly, was this implied? Or is that just the way some group interpreted it? Without direct quotes from the booklet, I'm skeptical that there's much of a story here.

Sorry, but I don't see any problem with that quote. In fact, it sounds very much like another famous quote by Adam Smith, "mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent". Whether or not you want to abide by it personally is one thing, but it hardly seems beyond the pale. And judging by your outrage at this quote, I'd say my suspicion about your first claim is rather justified.

Yes and I'm also aware of the need for dual passports for people who wish to visit Arab countries if they have an Israeli stamp in the original passport.

Saudi Arabia is ruled by a vile regime. Don't ever in future say I defend or have never condemned Islamic idelogies, regimes and groups. no excuses anymore.

But like the vile Israeli regime it is friendly to the Western establishment.

You suggest that ALL Palestinians are being persecuted. I was pointing out that one million Palestinians in Israel are NOT suffering persecution.

Actually, some Israeli-Arabs are actually doing quite well for themselves.

I wonder.....what percent of Israeli-Arabs would rather be citizens of the new State of Palestine..when it is finally created?

I don't expect crowds of Israelis-Arabs to be flocking to move there. They do suffer some discrimination, but they ALSO know they have it much better then many of their brethren across the Middle East.
