The Professors EVP superbowl prediciton!

That was his claim and Jeff Wagg kicked him out.
(Wagg has truth issues I think).

You should probably go and read The Professor's claim again. There is nothing there about voices predicting the future. If there were it seems like that might have been a simple thing to test.

I'll assume you have just forgotten what your friend was claiming and don't have 'truth issues' of your own, in this case.

Jim, please provide any evidence you can from TP's proposed protocol (if that's the word I am groping for), that claimed that the "spirits" (or whatever they were supposed to be) would make a speciific testable prediction about the future. I'll even help. Here is TP's protocol thread:

http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122607

You cannot do this because it did not happen. I think that you are the one with truth issues, seeing as how you make up your own truth as you go along, and pretend to know things that never, ever happened.

Norm

What are you all criticizing Jim for? We all know he his here for entertainment purposes only. What he says is not subject to critical analysis as what certain people here have done.

If this guy can get this kind of information from spirits, why isn't he the best-known magician in the world, not to mention filthy stinking rich?

That's what always gives these people away. They underestimate how our society would react to someone who really had such powers. Legitimate proof of the paranormal ---> fame & fortune.

Man I think this is or could be a deluxe legal issue.

Personaly I think the JREF is and was doing everything they could to keep the money.

Yep they get to have it now!!!!!!!!!!!

I see a million reason not to test or find any truth.

How easy to see the con in this deal in my opinion.

How was your Halloween and your legal issues? :D

If that was his claim why didn't he ever post that when people kept asking him, "What the hell is your claim?"

SOMEBODY definitely has truth issues.

You can't respond to a woo with logic, asking for proof and such. These are things a woo does not understand.

On a thread on Magic Cafe dear deluded Professor and his mentor/sidekick Jim Callahan claim Dave predicted Superbowl score(a 4 point win)
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=296852&forum=15&9

I can only find a 3 point victory but hey!

Its relevant to here as he claims EVP recorded at Devil's Chair gave him the info.So he should have a recording for us to hear!

Man Azrael ... Can't you COUNT? THREE does not equal FOUR!
(Please try to concentrate next time :) Math skills are important)

It is nice to see you once again have started a thread without the facts, but I will provide them for you.
If you have proof of any deception please provide the links as evidence.

1) Evidence was gathered at The Devil's Chair near Cassadaga.
I had hoped that Randi would bring some of his trusted scientists to help verify the experiments along with several Paranormal Research groups, but the JREF refused. UNFORTUNATE FACT!

2) After careful analysis of the information ( Including Dream Interpretation) the EVP's and ITC's supported the fact that the Steelers would win by four.
The JREF could have been at any of these sessions but they refused as always. OBVIOUS.

3) STEELERS BY FOUR was clearly heard. Wish the JREF would have been there but they chose not to. An MP3 may be on the market soon for those who wish to purchase it. TOO BAD NO ONE WANTED TO HEAR THE TRUTH.

4) Letters were mailed with this Prediction. A video was posted and commented on a week before the game. Many were also given the web link and asked not to look until after the game in order to prevent gambling and affecting the betting pool. Many went to the link anyway (prior to the game with nothing preventing them). They did not bet as requested. (As far as I know).

5) After closer analysis of the "Voices" it was "Learned" that the score would be 27 to 23 with the Steelers winning in an incredible back and forth style contest.
Notarized Letters (Legally Notarized on Friday) with the exact score were then mailed out to several people and Saturday dozens of emails were sent out with the exact score also. (Photo's of some local recipients will be available soon) All were asked not to bet.

6) A Notarized Prediction of the exact score was locked in a Fifth Third Bank Vault Friday night. Kind of OVERKILL, but you JREFers are so difficult at times.

7) I personally told a few very close friends who I knew would not gamble on the game. They will swear to it.

All of this and more occured BEFORE the game ever started!

In order for me to hit the score right on I would have had to sent out THOUSANDS of letters and emails. (That would cost $430.00 per thousand)

You could easily prove me wrong by supplying just a few of the thousands of misses.
But you can't, since there weren't any.

Just wait until the 13th!!!!!

TP: If you really want to impress us, or even be taken seriously, don't bother doing tricks in a magic forum. Do the trick again, in this forum. There are other matches to predict, pick one in the future. Predicting the past is easy.

Sending emails is free, and updating a score on a website is not that impressive. Come on, give us a match and a score, just post it here whenever you feel like it.

So you have no evidence of Foul Play then?
Just silly demands to do things YOUR WAY :)

Ehh good tricks are always fun and people make money from selling these tricks why wreck there livelihood by saying how things are done.
If people are feeling like spending some money look around the tricks are out there. Though I see no tricks available for telling the score in advance on a public forum other then lucky guess. I thought you could only get EVP's on Halloween?

No. I don't "demand" anything. Just a friendly advice, it would help you being taken seriously.

I don't need to provide evidence. You are claiming magic powers, and the burden of proof...oh just forget it. I'm not in the field of debunking magic tricks. I have a deep respect for the skills of many a magician.

But I know Copperfield never needed to talk to some dead guy to walk through chinese walls or escaping Alcatras. You think he, Ronald McDonald and every other magician at childrens birthday parties have unexplained magic powers? Wooooooooo.. I suddenly felt a chill in here.

It is not up to us to prove foul play, it is up to you to show that you can predict the future in ways others cannot. There are many ways you can publish this information without letting people use the information to bet. Just put your prediction on this forum in advance. Placing information elsewhere is worthless.

My prediction? You will never even attempt anything of the sort.

Nice touch for the idiots - notarized!!!! Woo!
Anyone want to research a little and find out just how little it costs to become a notary? I think I have my old seal and stamp around somewhere. And I'd sign anything as long as someone paid the fee. If someone offered me enough, I'd back date something to around the time of the Magna Carta and sign it!

Between $20-$50, depending on the state (In TP's Florida, it is $39), plus small amounts for the bond premium and seal/stamp. Calif. is probably the most expensive, since the commission process requires a mandatory class and written exam, passport photo, etc., but still not prohibitively expensive.

Big whoop. Someone verified that TP's signature was authentic. Doesn't have anything to do with the "prediction".

1. The burden of proof is on you. The JREF has no onus to travel or purchase material from you to help you prove your claims.

2. Why not place a wager? If you're so sure of your predictions, then it's not gambling... more of a sure thing. If you feel bad taking the money, give it to charity.

3. If you have a notarized prediction, produce it.

4. You, sir, are a liar.

Dream interpretation?! EVP's! Please no stop..my sides....:p

Can someone post the laughing dog GIF at some point! :D

How about making it simple? Post the final scores of a few games in a message in this thread.

Make sure the games are in the future, of course. Then your success or failure will be here for posterity.

Interesting. He posted in a few of his other threads but avoided answering this. And by interesting, I mean totally predictable and dull.
