There just isn't any point in responding to GiE. You could show him directly by taking him to a lab and showing him steels properties. You could show him what molten steel looks like and how it solidifies. You could perform as many thermite experiments as possible showing how it's not possible to do what he claims and he still would not believe you.

We are engaging with someone that a) does not want to learn b) is incapable of understanding rudimentary scientific concepts c) spouts nonsense in the forms of graphs and pictures he cannot understand.

The EDX spectrum you choose to introduce shows elements expected to be found on steel from the World Trade Center, even in the absence of thermite. But for some odd reason, you don't realize this. Wonder why? Perhaps a predisposition to only believe what you want?

Regrettably I think it's worse than that. Every time he copy+pastes some guff from a CT website he feels the thrill of taking on the entire corps of JRef debunkers and his position gets more and more entrenched. He's feeling better and better about this whole "debate", I'd say.

GiE is a person who has made countless factual errors and - as far as I can see - has not acknowledged one single correction. He's a person who believes he can tell that all the WTC concrete was "pulverised" by simply looking at a video, and has not recognised even the existence of macroscopic concrete in the photos that have been posted here, for example.

At most it's interesting to see this kind of psychology in action (yet again), so here's a question for GiE ....
